Today, here in Reggio Calabria, we have a weather alert day.
This means we won't be leaving the house!
Unfortunately, this unpredictable weather has already claimed a victim today. It's absurd to think that just ten years ago, around this time, our region already had advanced into summer in terms of climate.
However, today I don't want to talk about that but rather about work and good news.
I have been informed that next week, I will have the opportunity to speak with two individuals who have job offers for me. Both are office jobs, one full-time and one part-time in the afternoons.
The second option would theoretically allow me to maintain my current job while earning a lower salary. Of course, the combined sum of the two salaries could prove interesting, so I need to weigh the pros and cons.
Of course, there would also be fewer hours, so that's only natural, right?
As you can probably guess, I will definitely accept one of the jobs; I just need to figure out which one it will be.
Naturally, the discussion is currently quite general since I am not yet aware of the specific conditions. However, I already have a general idea of how I will approach it; the priority will be given to the remuneration aspect.
By accepting either job, I will find myself in a position of having to write my blog posts and continue with my work in the evenings. This means taking on a significant amount of additional work. As a result, the job I accept must be economically viable, allowing me to have financial stability solely through the traditional job and the added possibility of allocating part of the income to investments; otherwise, it wouldn't make much sense.
Certainly, the part-time job has its downsides. First of all, I would have to commute twice, which would increase fuel expenses. Secondly, if for any reason the job at the factory doesn't work out (which is highly probable given the organization of the company), I would find myself back at square one with only half a salary.
And that's if everything goes well, of course.
From my words, you can probably infer that I am more inclined towards the full-time option. From what I understand, both jobs should be relatively secure. For this reason, if the financial offer is appropriate, it would definitely be more beneficial to accept a situation that not only provides stability and financial peace of mind but also emotional tranquility and a well-defined and not overly stressful work routine. Let's not underestimate the fact that I would be working at a desk in front of a PC, so I can finally say goodbye to cleaning, moving packages, lifting weights, and all that jazz!
That wouldn't be too bad; I'm starting to get older, after all.
Less physical fatigue would also allow me to arrive in the evening more mentally alert, as I will still need to find time to write blog posts, create booklets to publish on Amazon, and edit and publish YouTube videos in some way.
Of course, if I consider the other option, the part-time one, in the morning job, I would still have to "glue" 50-kilogram bags of flour, continue with cleaning, and all that stuff, and then go to the other job in the afternoon. Of course, this second option also involves office work, so at least I wouldn't have to break my back during the subsequent working hours.
As you can see, there are many factors to consider, and in this situation, there are numerous variables at play.
However, after a lifetime of work, gaining experience, and always opting for things I love doing that have brought me mental and moral satisfaction, today the priority will be the financial aspect. I believe that, at a certain point in life, it's natural to become slightly more concerned with material things. It's important to consider that our family is expanding, and I have responsibilities to fulfill, and our needs will increase. I also don't want to find myself in a situation where I don't even have enough money in my pocket to pay for a doctor for ourselves or a veterinarian for our little animals. I know that Italy has various emergency medical services, but honestly, they don't fit the lifestyle I'm trying to create for my family and myself. Naturally, our furry companions are part of the family, so they should not experience any deprivation as long as they are on this earth.
Another thing to remember, in terms of the financial aspect, is that I'm working towards achieving financial freedom. Therefore, any job I take on will always be temporary because, according to my plans, in some time, I will be able to break free from this enslavement.
On Wednesday, I will have all the information I need, and I will make my decision. Of course, I will keep you informed in another post.

Oggi, qui a Reggio Calabria, giornata di allerta meteo.
Questo vuol dire che non ci muoveremo da casa!
Purtroppo, questo tempo balordo, oggi ha già fatto una vittima; è assurdo pensare che appena dieci anni fa, di questi tempi, nelle nostre zone era già estate inoltrata a livello di clima.
Non desidero parlare però di questo oggi ma di lavoro e buone notizie.
Mi è stato anticipato che, settimana prossima, potrò parlare con due persone che hanno da offrirmi altrettanti lavori.
Si tratta di lavori da ufficio, uno full time e uno part time solo i pomeriggi.
Il secondo mi permetterebbe, in teoria, di mantenere il mio attuale lavoro a fronte però di uno stipendio inferiore.
Certo magari la somma dei due stipendi potrebbe rivelarsi interessante quindi si potrebbero valutare pro e contro.
Certo, sarebbero meno anche le ore, quindi è anche normale, no?
Come potrai intuire, ovviamente, accetterò uno dei lavori; devo solo capire quale dei due sarà .
Naturalmente ora il ragionamento è davvero molto generico poiché ancora non conosco le condizioni resto il fatto che, bene o male so già come mi comporterò; la priorità verrà data al discorso remunerativo.
Accettando o l'uno o l'altro lavoro mi troverò nella condizione di dover scrivere i mie post per i blog e portare avanti i miei lavori la sera pertanto, si tratta di tanto lavoro in più.
Conseguenza di questo è che, il lavoro che accetterò, deve essere economicamente conveniente in maniera da permettermi di avere una tranquillità economica derivante solo dal lavoro classico e, in più, la possibilità di destinare parte dello stipendio agli investimenti, altrimenti non se ne farà nulla.
Sicuramente il lavoro part time ha delle negatività , prima di tutto dovrò fare dei doppi spostamenti quindi le spese del carburante aumenterebbero; seconda cosa, se per una qualsiasi ragione, il lavoro allo stabilimento non dovesse ingranare (cosa altamente probabile vista l'organizzazione dell'azienda) mi ritroverei di nuovo punto e a capo con mezzo stipendio.
Mezzo, ad andare bene ovviamente.
Immagino che, dalle mie parole, si possa intuire che sono più orientato verso l'opzione full time.
I due lavori, da quello che ho capito, dovrebbero essere relativamente "sicuri", proprio per questo motivo, se l'offerta economica dovesse essere congrua sarebbe sicuramente più conveniente accettare una situazione che, oltre a regalarci stabilità e tranquillità economica, mi darebbe anche una tranquillità emotiva e una routine lavorativa ben definita e non eccessivamente stressante.
Da non sottovalutare il fatto che dovrei lavorare seduto ad una scrivania davanti ad un PC quindi, direi finalmente basta a pulizie, spostare pacchi, sollevare pesi, cazzi e mazzi!
Non sarebbe davvero male, comincio ad avere un'età .
Meno stanchezza fisica mi permetterebbe anche di arrivare più lucido alla sera quando comunque, in qualche modo, dovrò incastrare la scrittura dei post, la realizzazione dei libretti da pubblicare su Amazon e il montaggio e la pubblicazione del video Youtube.
Naturalmente, se considero l'altra opzione, quella part time, nel lavoro di mattina, dovrò continuare ad "incollarmi" pacchi di farina di 50 chili, dovrò continuare a fare le pulizie e tutta questa roba qui per poi, nel pomeriggio, recarmi all'altro lavoro.
Certo anche questa seconda opzione tratta un lavoro di ufficio quindi quantomeno non dovrei spaccarmi la schiena nelle successive ore di impiego.
Come vedi le cose da valutare sono davvero tante, in questa situazione ci sono parecchie variabili.
Fermo restando che, dopo una vita di lavoro, dopo aver acquisito esperienza e aver optato sempre per le cose che amo fare e che mi hanno portato soddisfazioni sotto l'aspetto mentale e morale oggi la priorità l'avrà il discorso economico.
Credo che, arrivati ad un certo punto della vita, si possa anche essere leggermente più venali e materiali; c'è da considerare che la nostra famiglia si sta allargando quindi io ho delle responsabilità da assolvere e le nostre necessità aumenteranno.
Non voglio inoltre più trovarmi nella situazione di non avere in tasca nemmeno i soldi per andare a pagare un medico per noi o il veterinario per le nostre bestioline; so che in Italia ci sono le varie guardie mediche ma, onestamente, non fanno parte nello stile di vita che sto cercando di realizzare per la mia famiglia e me; naturalmente fanno parte della famiglia anche le bestioline quindi, anche loro, non dovranno vivere alcuna privazione finché sono su questa terra.
Cosa da non dimenticare, restando sull'argomento economico, sto lavorando per raggiungere la libertà finanziaria quindi, ogni lavoro sarà sempre e comunque temporaneo poiché, secondo i miei piani tra qualche tempo potrò staccarmi da questa schiavitù.
Mercoledì avrò tutte le informazioni e prenderò la mia decisione, ovviamente Te ne renderò partecipe in un altro post.
