Come di consueto oggi vi porto dentro una nuova Anteprima di un articolo che fra qualche giorno o settimana vedrete Nella Mente di un SerialFiller, il mio blog interamente incentrato sul mondo delle serie tv e di cui, da qualche mese, ho deciso di regalarvi costantemente, in anticipo su quello che pubblicherò, gran parte dei post che vedrete su www.serialfiller.org.

Ancora una recensione breve per voi e stavolta vi porto dentro uno show che sicuramente avrete visto.
E' su Netflix ed il successo globale è stato assurdo.

Una delle serie tv meno controverse degli ultimi anni?
Se per "meno controverso" intendiamo qualcosa che è piaciuta a tutti, senza se e senza ma, lasciando dietro di sè solo e soltanto lodi, allora La Regina Degli Scacchi risulta essere, senza dubbio alcuno, nel novero di questi show.
Non fidatevi però, perchè dietro questo clamoroso successo si cela anche una verità altrettanto inconfutabile, ovvero che la serie Netflix è figlia proprio dell'inizio del declino della piattaforma streaming più celebre al mondo.
Perchè?
Perchè a fronte di molti titoli mediocri, un titolo bello, ben fatto, semplice e puro come questo, ha saputo conquistare tutti.
Questo non fa della miniserie un gioiello, ne tantomeno un capolavoro, ma soltanto una buona, forse ottima serie.
E' stato bello scoprire, e far scoprire al mondo la classe e l'intransigenza di Anya Taylor Joy.
E' stato molto bello cavalcare con lei dall'oblio fino al successo.
Scacco dopo scacco siamo giunti alla fine, con piacere ed un pizzico di emozione.
Parlare di capolavoro, però, è fuorviante e non rispettoso verso le tantissime serie che in questi anni hanno saputo offrire qualcosa di veramente importante, originale e straordinario.
Ne ho parlato diffusamente, per ben 2 volte, prima nelle first impression e poi in questa recensione che trovate al link di seguito.

One of the least controversial TV series in recent years?
If by "least controversial" we mean something that everyone liked, without ifs and buts, leaving behind only and only praise, then The Chess Queen turns out to be, without a doubt, in the nobility of such shows.
Don't trust it, however, because behind this resounding success lies also an equally irrefutable truth, namely that the Netflix series is the very child of the beginning of the decline of the world's most famous streaming platform.
Why?
Because in the face of many mediocre titles, a title as beautiful, well-crafted, simple and pure as this one has managed to win everyone over.
That doesn't make the miniseries a gem, nor even a masterpiece, but just a good, perhaps excellent series.
It was nice to discover, and for the world to discover, the class and intransigence of Anya Taylor Joy.
It was very nice to ride with her from oblivion to success.
Checkmate after checkmate we came to the end, with pleasure and a hint of excitement.
To speak of a masterpiece, however, is misleading and disrespectful to the many series over the years that have been able to offer something truly important, original and extraordinary.
