Con Good Omens potrete disporre di tutto ciò, grazie al tema (l'apocalisse), alla genesi fumettistica e alla trasposizione seriale.
E poi potrete godere di una delle coppie di attori più in forma del momento.
Amici per la pelle (come ha dimostrato Staged di cui vi ho parlato in questa recensione).
Attori con la A maiuscola.
Personaggi che all'interno dell'universo delle serie tv hanno fatto la storia.
Non saranno i soli grandi attori presenti nello show di Amazon Prime Video ma la loro alchimia basterà per garantirvi qualche ora di spensierato intrattenimento.
Son passati circa 3 anni dall'uscita di Good Omens ed oggi voglio (perchè mi va) riproporvi qualche considerazione sparsa sulla serie prodotta da Jeff Bezos e compagnia cantante.
Che sia stata o meno un successo proverò a raccontarvelo nelle righe che seguono ma qualcosa mi dice che voi che l'avete già vista avrete già una vostra idea in merito.

La primavera del 2019 stava oramai scemando quando in tutto il mondo si stava registrando una spasmodica attesa per l'adattamento seriale di "Good Omens", serie tv tratta dall'omonima, e famosissima, graphic novel scritta e disegnata da quel geniaccio prolifico di Neil Gaiman, e che in Italia era, ed è, nota con il titolo bonaccione di "Buona Apocalisse a tutti".
L'enorme attesa era giustificata sia a causa della sorgente da cui la serie si abbeverava ma anche per la composizione del cast, in particolar modo quello che faceva riferimento ai 2 personaggi principali ed ai 2 straordinari interpreti che si accingevano a calarsi nella parte.
I 2 angeli caduti in volo (Battisti e Mogol siete sempre stati troppo oltre) e non, protagonisti dello show di Amazon Prime Video sarebbero state 2 vecchie e lietissime conoscenze del variegatissimo popolo seriale, vale a dire i 2 amiconi per la pelle Michael Sheen & David Tennant.
I nostalgici di Masters of Sex ed i fan di Doctor Who (nonchè del recente e ottimo Criminal) avevano drizzato le antenne su questo titolo e, ad alimentare ulteriormente la curiosità era stata la notizia bomba per cui avremmo visto in azione anche Jon Hamm, l'indimenticabile Don Draper di Mad Men, il quale era stato scelto come specialissima e graditissima guest star nei panni del famigerato arcangelo Gabriele.
I 6 episodi che avrebbero composto la prima stagione della serie confermavano come l'ottimo, e celebre, materiale di partenza ed i nomi coinvolti a vario titolo nello show avrebbero potuto poi effettivamente essere il valore aggiunto di un prodotto che avrebbe tuttavia faticato a far emergere appieno le grandissime potenzialità che essa era chiamata ad esaltare.
