Come di consueto oggi vi porto dentro una nuova Anteprima di un articolo che fra qualche giorno o settimana vedrete Nella Mente di un SerialFiller (l'amica geniale 3), il mio blog interamente incentrato sul mondo delle serie tv e di cui, da qualche mese, ho deciso di regalarvi costantemente, in anticipo su quello che pubblicherò, gran parte dei post che vedrete su www.serialfiller.org.

Torniamo in Italia con una delle mie serie preferite che ha fatto stavolta molto discutere in italia e non solo.

L'Amica Geniale ha chiuso la terza stagione con un doppio episodio anticlimatico che ha lasciato molti con l'amaro in bocca.
Per una volta le critiche negative hanno superato quelle positive, confermando come la serie tratta dai libri di Elena Ferrante sia diventata (almeno in Italia) un vero fenomeno di massa, pronto a scatenare le reazioni di una variegata e multiforme platea di spettatori ed addetti ai lavori, non sempre concordi sulla legacy lasciata da un doppio episodio come questo.
La bocca del vostro SerialFiller sarà asciutta, amara o molto dolce come praticamente è sempre capitato al cospetto della serie Rai/HBO?

Ancora tu e Chi Fugge, Chi Resta, sono stati molto probabilmente i 2 episodi meno riconducibili alla serie di Saverio Costanzo e Daniele Luchetti.
Lila non è quasi mai apparsa. Le dinamiche del rione sono scappate via per lasciare spazio a quelle fiorentine ed intime di Lenù, mai cosi centrale nella serie come in questo episodio.
In realtà, tutta la terza stagione è apparsa molto Lenù - centrica e questo ha sicuramente segnato un cambio di passo e di scenario che non tutti hanno apprezzato.
Lenù ha sempre rappresentato la protagonista meno "fotogenica", meno attrattiva, meno intrigante agli occhi dello spettatore, spesso offuscata dalla sregolatezza di Lila che, con tutte le sue "smarginature" ha sempre rubato il cuore di lettori e spettatori più attenti alla forma che alla sostanza. Lila è sia forma che sostanza, lo è sempre stata (intendiamoci!) ma questa sua "pienezza" non ha mai significato una corrispondente "vuotezza" della sua amica d'infanzia.
Lenù è sempre stato, forse, il personaggio più interessante e pieno da molti punti di vista.
La terza stagione ha messo in evidenza questo suo essere cosi totale anche senza essere mai totalizzante.
Elena Greco era una bambina che è riuscita ad emergere, passo dopo passo, partendo dal basso sotto ogni punto di vista.
Era la meno intelligente della coppia.
La meno abbiente (non che Lila lo fosse ma di certo i Cerrullo qualche opportunità maggiore di emergere negli affari l'hanno avuta).
La meno "sostenuta" intellettualmente visto che Lila aveva sempre avuto dalla sua la sponda del fratello Rino, mentre Lenù ha sempre dovuto faticare nel tentativo di convincere i suoi genitori che la strada giusta da seguire fosse quella dello studio, delle lettere e dell'emancipazione.
Questa bambina, diventata donna, ha saputo emigrare a Pisa, frequentare ambienti intellettualmente stimolanti, laurearsi, scrivere un romanzo di notevole successo, sposare un uomo appartenente all'alta borghesia ed all'intelligentia accademica fiorentina, partorire 2 volte, avere delle relazioni extra-coniugali, tenere testa al marito e alla sua famiglia, cadere, risalire, cadere, risalire, essere affidabile, essere fedifraga, assestarsi e rimestarsi.
Lenù è un personaggio interessantissimo che in questa stagione emerge prepotentemente ma senza mai essere quella che non è. Lenù non è Lila. Non ne possiede il carattere. Non ne ha i toni. Non ne condivide l'impertinenza.

As usual today I bring you a new Preview of an article that in a few days or weeks you will see in the Mind of a SerialFiller (l'amica geniale 3), my blog entirely focused on the world of TV series and of which, for some months now, I have decided to give you constantly, in advance of what I will publish, most of the posts you will see on www.serialfiller.org.

Let's go back to Italy with one of my favorite series that has caused a lot of discussion in Italy and beyond.

L'Amica Geniale closed its third season with an anticlimactic double episode that left many with a bad taste in their mouths.
For once, the negative criticisms have exceeded the positive ones, confirming how the series based on the books of Elena Ferrante has become (at least in Italy) a real mass phenomenon, ready to trigger the reactions of a varied and multifaceted audience of viewers and experts, not always agree on the legacy left by a double episode like this.
Will your SerialFiller's mouth be dry, bitter or very sweet as it has always been the case with the Rai/HBO series?

Ancora tu and Chi Fugge, Chi Resta were most likely the 2 episodes least relatable to Saverio Costanzo and Daniele Luchetti's series.
Lila almost never appeared. The dynamics of the ward ran away to leave room for the Florentine and intimate ones of Lenù, never so central to the series as in this episode.
In fact, the entire third season appeared very Lenù - centric and this certainly marked a change of pace and scenery that not everyone appreciated.
Lenù has always been the least "photogenic" protagonist, less attractive, less intriguing in the eyes of the viewer, often overshadowed by the unruliness of Lila who, with all her "smarginature" has always stolen the hearts of readers and viewers more attentive to form than substance. Lila is both form and substance, she always has been (mind you!) but this "fullness" of hers has never meant a corresponding "emptiness" of her childhood friend.
Lenù has always been, perhaps, the most interesting and full character from many points of view.
The third season highlighted this being so total even without ever being totalizing.
Elena Greco was a child who managed to emerge, step by step, starting from the bottom in every way.
She was the least intelligent of the couple.
The less wealthy (not that Lila was, but certainly the Cerrullo's had more opportunities to emerge in business).
She was the least intellectually "supported" since Lila always had the support of her brother Rino on her side, while Lenù always had to struggle to convince her parents that the right path to follow was that of study, letters and emancipation.
This little girl, who became a woman, was able to emigrate to Pisa, frequent intellectually stimulating environments, graduate, write a novel of considerable success, marry a man belonging to the upper middle class and to the Florentine academic intelligentsia, give birth twice, have extra-marital relationships, stand up to her husband and his family, fall, rise again, fall, rise again, be reliable, be faithful, settle down and reshuffle.
Lenù is a most interesting character who emerges powerfully this season but without ever being what she is not. Lenù is not Lila. She doesn't have the character. She doesn't have her tone. She doesn't share her impertinence.
