Come di consueto oggi vi porto dentro una nuova Anteprima di un articolo che fra qualche giorno o settimana vedrete Nella Mente di un SerialFiller, il mio blog interamente incentrato sul mondo delle serie tv e di cui, da qualche mese, ho deciso di regalarvi costantemente, in anticipo su quello che pubblicherò, gran parte dei post che vedrete su www.serialfiller.org.
Sol levante si leva anche www.serialfiller.org e lo fa con una serie giapponese di Netflix che da qualche mese è disponibile in piattaforma.
Vderla o non vederla, questo è il problema.
E per risolverlo ci sono qua io.

Netflix, dopo essere sbarcato oramai in ogni angolo del mondo, ci porta anche in Giappone e lo fa con The Journalist, serie tv che dal 13 gennaio 2022 è disponibile nel catalogo Netflix WorldWide.
Una serie che parla di....e che ne parla davvero...
Curiosità fatti da parte e vola oltre l'immagine per saperne di più.

The Journalist non è una serie facile ed, in fondo, non è una bella serie.
Tolgo subito il cerotto onde evitare ogni ipocrisia.
Non mi è piaciuta. Non ne ho capito il senso. Ne ho percepito l'ambizione.
Fatto sta che, arrivato al termine del pilot, non mi ha lasciato nulla se non la sensazione di aver visto qualcosa di piatto e sonnolento che, però, sul finire ha creato un'atmosfera che mi ha spinto a guardare anche il secondo episodio, anche io spinto dalla curiosità.
Sono, in fondo, solo 6 episodi e se proprio non sapete resistere allora cliccate su play e non pensateci più.
Non è una serie facilissima ma non è neppure fisica quantistica.
La capirete, anche mentre adagiate il mocio vileda sul gres porcellanato effetto legno del vostro salotto o mentre sullo smartphone ammirerete, da una nuova angolazione, lo schiaffo poderoso che Will Smith ha rifilato a Chris Rock durante la notte degli Oscar 2022.
Arrivati al termine dello show ambientato e prodotto nel paese del Sol Levante, è probabile che vi rimarrà poco di una storia molto poco didascalica (che di solito è un bene) e raffazzonata che, nelle intenzioni, avrebbe voluto ambire a qualcosa di più. Il bello ed il cattivo tempo, in The Journalist, lo fa proprio la sua vaghezza, una vaghezza che confonde e affascina ma che finisce per annoiare ed affaticare lo spettatore.

E cosi, come un'onda che urta uno scoglio durante una burrasca, la voglia di vederla va e viene, respinta da quello stesso scoglio che avrebbe potuto accoglierne ferocemente la furia.
The Journalist, dunque, potrebbe essere quella serie esotica che vorreste nominare agli amici per mostrarvi aperti al mondo, veri intenditori, persone esperte e curioso che navigano con estrema confidenza i mari seriali. Una roba del tipo "sapete, ho appena concluso una serie tv giapponese..). Sarebbe un buon inizio di conversazione, ma non sarebbe un ottimo consiglio.

As usual today I bring you a new Preview of an article that in a few days or weeks you will see in the Mind of a SerialFiller, my blog entirely focused on the world of TV series and of which, for some months now, I have decided to give you constantly, in advance of what I will publish, most of the posts you will see on www.serialfiller.org.
Rising Sun also rises www.serialfiller.org and does so with a Japanese series of Netflix that has been available on the platform for a few months.
To see it or not to see it, that is the problem.
And I'm here to solve it.

Netflix, after having landed in every corner of the world, takes us even in Japan and does so with The Journalist, a TV series that from January 13, 2022 is available in the Netflix WorldWide catalog.
A series about....and really talking about it....
Curiosity step aside and fly past the image to learn more.

The Journalist is not an easy series and, ultimately, not a good one.
I'm going to take the band-aid off now in order to avoid any hypocrisy.
I didn't like it. I didn't get the point of it. I sensed its ambition.
The fact is that, when I got to the end of the pilot, I was left with nothing but the feeling of having seen something flat and sleepy, but in the end it created an atmosphere that pushed me to watch the second episode, driven by curiosity.
There are, after all, only 6 episodes and if you just can not resist then click on play and think no more.
It's not an easy series but it's not quantum physics either.
You'll understand it, even while you're laying the vileda mop on the wood-effect porcelain stoneware of your living room or while on your smartphone you'll admire, from a new angle, the powerful slap that Will Smith gave to Chris Rock during the Oscar night 2022.
Arrived at the end of the show set and produced in the Land of the Rising Sun, it is likely that you will be left with little of a story very little didactic (which is usually a good thing) and messy that, in the intentions, would have wanted to aspire to something more. The good and bad time, in The Journalist, it does just its vagueness, a vagueness that confuses and fascinates but ends up boring and tiring the viewer.

And so, like a wave that hits a rock during a storm, the desire to see it comes and goes, rejected by the same rock that could have fiercely welcomed the fury.
The Journalist, then, could be that exotic series you'd like to mention to friends to show you're open to the world, true connoisseurs, experienced and curious people who navigate the serial seas with extreme confidence. Something along the lines of "you know, I just wrapped up a Japanese TV series...). That would be a good conversation starter, but not great advice.
