Come di consueto oggi vi porto dentro una nuova Anteprima di un articolo che fra qualche giorno o settimana vedrete Nella Mente di un SerialFiller, il mio blog interamente incentrato sul mondo delle serie tv e di cui, da qualche mese, ho deciso di regalarvi costantemente, in anticipo su quello che pubblicherò, gran parte dei post che vedrete su www.serialfiller.org.

E dai che ne parliamo di nuovo, parliamo ancora di questa incredibile serie tv di Apple tv Plus, quella Apple che ha sfornato Severance.
Semplicemente straordinaria.
Non perdetevela per nulla al mondo

Ne abbiamo già avute moltissime di "bombe" in questo 2022 (ahinoi anche di bombe vere nella martoriata Ucraina). Dalla superba seconda stagione di Euphoria allo scoppiettante finale di Peaky Blinders, passando per nuovi show eccellenti come Peacemaker, Slow Horses e altre ancora. Ce ne è una, però, che merita più di tutte questo appellativo ed è, senza dubbio, proprio Severance.
Se il pilot aveva acceso la miccia, gli episodi successivi hanno visto quella miccia accorciarsi sempre più in vista di un finale che ha fatto esplodere tutto, facendo saltare un banco molto molto ricco e rinviando tutto ad una seconda stagione che già attendiamo con fermento.
L'incipit di Severance ci aveva da subito proiettato in una dimensione "blackmirroriana" di cui sentivamo un certo bisogno. Se è vero che di piccole Black Mirror, in questi anni, ne abbiamo viste passare tante (da Made For Love a The Premise, passando per Years & Years e tante altre), mai avevamo assistito a qualcosa di cosi orizzontale e cosi duraturo come Severance.

Un'intera stagione di altissimo livello dove mai abbiamo avuto la sensazione di un calo nella qualità, sia visiva che narrativa, e dove sempre abbiamo percepito un rilancio della posta in gioco.
Al centro di tutta la storia, come credo saprete, vi è una procedura, quella della "scissione", adottata e sponsorizzata dalla famigerata Lumon, grazie alla quale si può scegliere di "separare"

Don't miss it for the world

We've already had plenty of "bombs" in this 2022 (alas, even real bombs in the martyred Ukraine). From the superb second season of Euphoria to the crackling finale of Peaky Blinders, via excellent new shows like Peacemaker, Slow Horses and others. There is one, however, that deserves this appellation more than any other and it is, without a doubt, Severance.
If the pilot lit the fuse, the following episodes saw that fuse get shorter and shorter in view of a finale that blew up everything, blowing up a very very rich bank and postponing everything to a second season that we are already waiting for with excitement.
The incipit of Severance had immediately projected us into a "blackmirrorian" dimension that we felt we needed. While it's true that we've seen many little Black Mirrors over the years (from Made For Love to The Premise, passing through Years & Years and many others), we had never witnessed something as horizontal and long-lasting as Severance.

An entire season of the highest level where we never had the feeling of a decline in quality, both visual and narrative, and where we always felt a revival of the stakes.
At the heart of the story, as I think you know, there is a procedure, the "split", adopted and sponsored by the infamous Lumon, thanks to which you can choose to "separate"
