One of the most proven practices of contemporary politicians and managers is to overturn facts, to turn reality around like a sock.
And so, in recent months, the clumsy attempt of the Lombardy regional government, the Lega di Salvini, has been to proclaim themselves victims of hate campaigns against the Lombardy region, against Lombard excellence.
An attempt has been made to exchange the right of criticism of a regional government and a wicked ruling class for hatred of an entire region and its population.
A reprehensible attempt, even more disgusting in the light of the thousands of victims of covid-19.
Sometimes, however, time is really gentlemanly.
With clamorous timeliness, the Welfare Councillor Gallera dispelled any doubts about the competence of the Lombard ruling class and the common sense of some of its key members.
The other day, Gallera tried to explain the contagion index. He did so with an example of "Merkeliana" memory but which ended up becoming the most embarrassing statement of Italian politics at the time of the covid.
You all know the statement and it is incredible.
The danger is to minimize it, to reduce it to a simple gaffe, a mere slip.
It is not.
It is a very serious statement, which misinforms and confuses the citizen and above all worries us because it puts us in front of the ignorance of those who have had to manage the most serious health emergency in the last 100 years.
A personage who in these 3 months should have firmly held the reins of the richest region of Europe and who instead made a series of mistakes that led to the economic and health disaster.
Not declaring Nembro and Alzano Lombardo red areas has cost hundreds of victims.
Confusing contagiousness with no need for hospital care has led to disastrous choices.
Manslaughter and multiple manslaughter on the conscience for the management of the sick covid moved to the RSA.
The lack of knowledge of the meaning of contagiousness index.
The hospital at the fair.
And we could go on for hours.

Then we're here wondering what went wrong in Lombardy?

What didn't work is that rich region often puts profit before the rest. Political and managerial positions often end up in the hands of friends of friends. The public is mocked while the private sector is hailed. The ruling class is often ruthless as well as inadequate.
It is the richest region but perhaps only economically.
Humanly, the detachment from reality has greatly weakened the ruling class we are talking about.
In addition to mistakes, bad communication, incompetence, what is striking is not admitting mistakes, not recognizing any problems caused by them.
This is unacceptable, especially in the face of blatant errors that have led to thousands of deaths.
Covid-19 has brought out all these hypocrisies. We hope that we will remember the damage done by these people and by certain positions of the confindustria, in a region where the word **production ** has long since replaced dignity, culture, competence, humanity.

Una delle pratiche più collaudate di politici e manager contemporanei è quella di ribaltare i fatti, rivoltare la realtà come un calzino.
Ed ecco che negli ultimi mesi il tentativo, maldestro, della giunta regionale lombarda, della Lega di Salvini tutta è stato quello di proclamarsi vittime di campagne di odio contro la regione Lombardia, contro l'eccellenza lombarda.
Si è provato a scambiare il diritto di critica di una giunta regionale e una classe dirigente scellerata, con l'odio verso una regione intera e la sua popolazione.
Un tentativo riprorevole, ancor più disgustoso alla luce delle migliaia di vittime del covid-19.
A volte però il tempo è davvero galantuomo.
Con tempestività clamorosa, l'assessore al Welfare Gallera ha fugato ogni dubbio rispetto alla competenza della classe dirigente lombarda e sul buon senso di alcuni suoi componenti chiave.
L'altro giorno, Gallera ha tentato di spiegare l'indice di contagio. Lo ha fatto con un esempio di "Merkeliana" memoria ma che ha finito per divenire l'affermazione più imbarazzante della politica nostrana ai tempi del covid.
La dichiarazione la conoscete tutti e ha dell'incredibile.
Il pericolo è quello di minimizzarla, di ridurla a semplice gaffe, a mero lapsus.
Non lo è.
E' un affermazione gravissima, che disinforma e confonde il cittadino e soprattutto ci preoccupa perchè ci mette di fronte all'insipienza di chi ha dovuto gestire l'emergenza sanitaria più grave degli ultimi 100 anni.
Un personaggio che in questi 3 mesi avrebbe dovuto fermamente tenere le redini della regione più ricca d'Europa e che invece ha inanellato una serie di errori che hanno portato al disastro economico e sanitario.
Non dichiarare Nembro e Alzano Lombardo zone rosse è costato centinaia di vittime.
Confondere contagiosità con non necessità di avere cure ospedaliere ha portato a scelte disastrose.
L'omicidio colposo e plurimo sulla coscienza per la gestione dei malati covid spostati nelle RSA.
La non conoscenza del significato di indice di contagiosità.
L'ospedale in fiera.
E potremmo continuare per ore.

Poi siamo qui a chiederci cosa non ha funzionato in Lombardia?

Quello che non ha funzionato è che quella ricca regione spesso metto il profitto davanti al resto. Spesso le cariche politiche e dirigenziali finiscono in mano agli amici degli amici. Il pubblico è deriso mentre il privato osannato. La classe dirigente è spesso spietata oltre che inadeguata.
E' la regione più ricca ma forse solo economicamente.
Umanamente, il distacco con la realtà ha indebolito molto la classe dirigente di cui parliamo.
Oltre agli errori, alla comunicazione pessima, all'incompetenza, quello che colpisce è il non ammettere gli errori, il non riconoscere nessun problema da essi causato.
E' un comportamente inaccettabile, specie di fronte ad errori evidenti che hanno portato a migliaia di morti.
Il covid-19 ha fatto emergere tutte queste ipocrisie. Speriamo che ci ricoderemo dei danni fatti da questi personaggi e da certe posizioni della confindustria, in una regione dove la parole **produzione **si è sostituita da tempo a dignità, cultura, competenza, umanità.
