It's one of the political catchphrases of the last decade.
The TAV project, which will bring high speed on the Turin-Lyon route, has been on the table for years.
Only last year it finally saw its end.
Or so it seemed.
A strange twist of fate, it was precisely that 5 Star Movement that had built part of its consensus on the anti-TAV issue that approved it, even though it did not vote for it.
Found itself in the midst of the thousands of blackmails of a 35% League, which threatened elections, every five minutes, the cricketers had to abdicate, bring the issue to Parliament and democratically submit it to all political forces.
Political forces that, across the board, voted in favour of what has always been an expensive, useless, obsolete work with enormous environmental impact for all insiders and economists.
The Renzi, the Salvini, the Berlusconi of this world, our great statesmen have unfortunately put personal, economic and power interests before general interests.
It is news today that the mayor of Lyon himself thundered against the work.
In addition to spending words of fire against the opera, he has in fact blocked the work, demanding that it not be continued.
A twist that should make us reflect and above all hope that where Italian politics has failed, French politics will succeed...

E' uno dei tormentoni politici dell'ultimo decennio.
Il progetto TAV, che porterà l'alta velocità nella tratta Torino Lione, è sul tavolo da anni.
Solo l'anno scorso ha visto finalmente la sua fine.
O almeno cosi sembrava.
Strano scherzo del destino, ad approvarla, pur non votandola, è stato proprio quel Movimento 5 Stelle che sulla questione anti-TAV aveva costruito parte del suo consenso.
Trovatosi in mezzo ai mille ricatti di una Lega al 35%, che minacciava elezioni, ogni 5 minuti, i grillini hanno dovuto abdicare, portare in Parlamento la questione e sottoporla democraticamente a tutte le forze politiche.
Forze politiche che, trasversalmente, hanno votato a favore di quella che per tutti gli addetti ai lavori e gli economisti è sempre stata un'opera costosa, inutile, obsoleta e con impatto ambientale enorme.
I Renzi, i Salvini, i Berlusconi di questo mondo, i nostri grandi statisti purtroppo hanno anteposto interessi personali, economici e di potere a quelli generali.
E' notizia di oggi che lo stesso sindaco di Lione ha tuonato contro l'opera.
Oltre a spendere parole di fuoco contro l'opera ha di fatto bloccato i lavori, chiedendo che non siano portati avanti.
Un colpo di scena che dovrebbe farci riflettere e soprattutto sperare, che laddove la politica italiana non sia riuscita riesca quella francese...
