Considerations
The last time I took a look at Ethereum's data was 10-05-2022.
On that date Ethereum was still a Proof Of Work, now it is a Proof Of Stake. Let's take a look at how the data has changed.
In May Ethereum had a market capitalisation of $278 billion now it is $200 billion, a drop of 25%. The circulating supply was 120.7 million, now it is 122.3 million tokens. Same with total supply.
News
On 15 September 2022, the Ethereum merge took place and now the first data can already be analysed. One of the objectives of the merge was to reduce the energy consumption that the Ethereum network had and the first data are positive. From the first analyses, it seems that the consumption of the network decreased by 99% after the merge. This figure is quite important and astonishing.

Chart analysis
On 10-05-2022 ETH was worth $2,307.45, today it is worth $1,636.17. In the May 10 article I wrote that ETH had a good chance of falling towards $1,800, we went much further by touching $1,000, then there was a rise. The $1000 is a static support which however has held up rather well.
From the one-year set chart it seems that the descent has stopped, at least for now.
The price has broken out of the bearish channel that was formed in November 2021, exactly one year ago.
There is a 70% probability that the price of ETH will fall towards $1250 and then rise again towards $2000.
Conclusions
Compared to May 2022 Ethereum's capitalisation has dropped by -25%, other cryptocurrencies have done much worse with drops of 50% or even 75%. Now Ethereum is a SOP and the first data on network consumption can be verified. The data is astonishing and shows a 99% drop in energy consumption.

Considerazioni
L’ultima volta che ho dato un’occhiata ai dati di Ethereum era il 10-05-2022.
In quella data Ethereum era ancora una Proof Of Work, ora è una Proof Of Stake. Andiamo a vedere come sono cambiati i dati.
A Maggio Ethereum aveva una capitalizzazione di mercato di 278 miliardi di dollari ora invece è di 200 miliardi di dollari, un calo del 25%. La circulating supply era di 120,7 milioni, ora è di 122,3 milioni di token. Stessa cosa per quanto riguarda la total supply.
Ultime notizie
Il 15 settembre 2022 è avvenuto il merge di Ethereum ed ora si possono già analizzare i primi dati. Uno degli obiettivi del merge era quello di ridurre il consumo di energia che la rete Ethereum aveva ed i primi dati sono positivi. Dalle prime analisi sembra che i consumi della rete sono diminuiti del 99% dopo il merge. Il dato è piuttosto importante e stupefacente.
Il grafico dell’Ethereum Energy Consumption Index che si trova su digiconomist mostra un calo drastico dei consumi.

Analisi del grafico
Il 10-05-2022 ETH valeva 2,307.45$, oggi invece vale 1.636,17$. Nell’articolo del 10 maggio scrissi che ETH aveva buone probabilità di scendere verso i 1800$, siamo andati molto oltre toccando 1000$, poi c’è stata una risalita. I 1000$ sono un supporto statico che comunque ha retto piuttosto bene.
Dal grafico impostato ad un anno sembra che la discesa si sia arrestata, almeno per ora.
Il prezzo è uscito dal canale ribassista che si era formato a novembre 2021, esattamente un anno fa.
C’è una probabilità del 70% che il prezzo di ETH scenda verso i 1250 $ per poi salire di nuovo verso i 2000$..
Conclusioni
Rispetto a maggio 2022 la capitalizzazione di Ethereum è calata di un -25%, altre criptomonete hanno fatto molto peggio con dei cali del 50% o addirittura del 75%. Ora Ethereum è una POS e si possono verificare i primi dati relativi al consumo della rete. I dati sono sorprendenti e mostrano un calo dei consumi energetici del 99%.
