Hello my dear friends,
today I show you one of my little Madonnas that I usually make to give to friends during the Christmas party, they are all different because I don't like repeating myself. I called this "Madonna in the green" because it is surrounded by nature, as you can seen from the background.

oggi vi mostrerò una delle mie Madonnine che di solito faccio per regalare agli amici durante le feste di Natale, sono tutte diverse perché non mi piace ripetermi.
Questa l'ho chiamata "Madonna nel verde" perché è immersa nella natura, come si vede sullo sfondo.
I started by taking a 13 x 15 cm wooden tablet and I painting it with acrilyc colors, forming leaves, then I traced the shape of the image of the Madonna. Our Lady, queen of nature, this is a theme.
Ho iniziato prendendo una tavoletta di legno di 13 x 15 cm e l'ho dipinta con colori acrilici, formando delle foglie, poi ho tracciato la forma dell'immagine della Madonna. La Madonna regina della natura, questo è un tema.
Then I took a blue / gray silk, cut the dress, Iembroidered it with beads and painted the folded hands of the Madonna on it
Poi ho preso una seta blu/grigia, ho tagliato l'abito, l'ho ricamato con perline e ci ho dipinto sopra le mani giunte della Madonna
I glued over a cape made of sequined leather and with the same material I made the crown
Ho incollato sopra un mantello fatto di pelle con lustrini e con lo stesso matriale ho realizzato la corona
In the end I glued a particular trimmings that I found at the antique markets to the top of the wood
Alla fine ho incollato alla sommità del legno una particolare passamaneria che ho trovato nei mercatini dell'antiquariato
With these details it seems to me that I have given this painting a mysterious aspect, perhaps when the work is finished it no longer looks like a Madonna, that is, a divine figure, but a mysterious woman....hahaha

Con questi dettagli mi sembra di aver dato a questo quadro un aspetto misterioso, forse a lavoro finito essa non sembra più una Madonna, cioè una figura divina, ma una donna misteriosa....hahaha
