Where were you 10 years ago?

I'd like to play back Hive account@sjarvie5's challenge from the previous season, inspired by Hive account@fotostef's post. But this time, you don't have to make a post. Just share a picture and a few paragraphs about where you were 10 years ago in the comments section. If possible, you can mention the date or month.

In April 2012, I was in Medan, North Sumatra, with my 3 colleagues to do some work. In our free time, we'd like to take a trip to Lake Toba. But my Medanese friend said that we wouldn't make it due to the tight schedule, so we'd better go to Taman Simalem Resort in Tanah Karo instead. He ensured that the resort has the best view of Lake Toba. It was the right decision. From that place, we can see Lake Toba as a whole: very large like no limits. It's so magnificent!
