History reminds us of where we come from, it is the background that explains the reasons for some later events, or those we live today, I love to see the buildings of yesteryear, those that show us how the houses, streets, churches and places were during certain times, the houses in colonial times had a structure logically determined by the historical moment.

A few days ago I shared with you some of the pictures I took on my last visit to the birthplace of the Liberator Simon Bolivar, although I left there somewhat disappointed, the images I managed to capture I loved and as here in this beautiful community, we can only share 10 photos per publication, there were some pending, perhaps some of them of the same rooms or places in the house, but from another angle or from a greater or lesser distance.

La historia nos recuerda de donde venimos, son los antecedentes que nos explican los motivos de algunos eventos posteriores, o de los que vivimos actualmente, yo amo ver las construcciones de antaño, esas que nos muestran cómo eran las casas, las calles, iglesias y los lugares durante determinadas épocas, las casas en la época de la colonia tenían una estructura determinada lógicamente por el momento histórico.

Ya hace unos días les compartí algunas de las fotografías que tome en mi última visita a la casa natal del Libertador Simón Bolívar, aunque salí de allí algo decepcionada, las imágenes que logre capturar me encantaron y como aquí en esta bella comunidad, solo podemos compartir 10 fotos por publicación, quedaron algunas pendientes, tal vez algunas de ellas de las mismas habitaciones o lugares de la casa, pero dese otro ángulo o de mayor o menor distancia.

Although the tour alone is not the same as the one a guide can give you, providing information that sometimes we do not usually notice with the naked eye, it is always exciting to know that in that house was born and lived some experiences a man as great as the Liberator.

On the other hand, I think that those of us who live in this modern era of apartments and houses with other designs, do not find the designs of these colonial houses functional, but at the time, it was what prevailed and had its reason for being, remember that for example the ladies of the time went out only to a few things and took walks inside their houses in those inner courtyards.

Aunque el recorrido solo, no es el mismo que el que te pueda dar un guía, que aporte información que a veces no solemos notar a simple vista, siempre es emocionante saber que en esa casa nació y vivió algunas experiencias un hombre tan grande como lo fue el Libertador.

Por otro lado, creo que los que vivimos en esta época moderna de departamentos y casas con otros diseños, no nos parece funcional los diseños de estas casas de la colonia, pero en su momento, era lo que predominaba y tenía su razón de ser, recordemos que por ejemplo las damas de la época salían a la calle solo a contadas cosas y daban paseos dentro de sus casas en esos patios internos.

So, although there is a part of the house that cannot be accessed as a visitor, this will always be a very beautiful place to visit, there are many other beautiful and historical places to visit nearby, but between occupations and the rains I have not been able to go to share with you a little more of the beauty of the history that is in the center of Caracas.

Así, aunque hay una parte de la casa a la que no se puede acceder como visitante, este siempre será un lugar muy bello para visitar, hay muchos otros lugares hermosos e históricos para visitar en las cercanías, pero entre ocupaciones y las lluvias no he podido ir para compartir con ustedes un poco más de la belleza de la historia que se encuentra en el centro de Caracas.
