Hello beautiful people of hive, how are you all doing today?
So earlier today I made a post about how parents should look out for their kids, And that was kinda in the morning hours. so later this afternoon, My neighbors around the estate I leave came knocking at the gate so I decided to go check what was going on, and only to hear that my water trunk got a leakage, and it was a very terrible one. I guess I was lucky they did notice on time, right at the moment I was tying to pump water.
I had to step out to where I will get new water trunks, but luckily one of them that came informing me about the leakage my neighbour just right opposite insisted in helping me with one of her trucks she doesn't use for the meantime.
How I got to know her?
It was this very faithful evening when I was stepping out to take a walk since I was home throughout the day, and was kind of bored. so on my way coming back, I saw her and others sitting outside, I couldn't tell if they where are siblings or friends but one was very massure so I guess that was her mom? So I greeted them and they were like are you new here? I told him yeah! that I have been around for over two months now? and you know this Abuja is a place where everybody mind your own damn business, and so you can stay in an environment for a year and you've not spoken with your neighbours accept greetings, and that is if you even see them.
I kind of got into a very little conversation with them that day, and they told me they have been seeing me around, and I've been wanted to talk to me, but I was always busy so they had to just keep your distance you know; and I was like oh my goodness, how did that happened?
We exchanged contact that day, and if I can remember that was on a Saturday night, so since then we didn't like call ourselves we hear from ourselves until this very incident, the good thing is that they saved me from going to get a new water trunk, because that would have been another expenses to make this December. So the trunk you see is actually the one they gave to me, and one of it is the one that got broken.
The water was not a huge one, I had to appreciate them for the kindness, I mean it's really rare to see people with such a kind and giving heart don't you think so? well I have not been quite a very open neighbour, and I think if there is one message I should pass out here to you all is that wherever you find yourself keep a good communication around the people in that area or environment, because it will help you a lot
I know here in Abuja and especially this estate that I leave is a very busy one, so you can't just walk up to people and want to inconvenience or bugg them. if there is a slight coincidence then I think you should really make a good use of it, like that conversation as to be perfect and flowing.
Come back for more
