Sharing with friends of rehabilitation
Today I want to share a very nice life experience, while accompanying my husband to the therapies assigned by the treating physician for having suffered a traffic accident, since last Monday we joined a new cycle of therapies in a rehabilitation center near the house, also new therapy partners.
When we arrived at the therapy center we began to socialize with our companions, while we were in the waiting room, it was the fourth day of therapies and one of the members of the group suggested that we share, this idea was received with great enthusiasm.
Immediately a list was made and the contributions of each one were written down: cakes, empanadas, tequeños, soft drinks, candies, cookies, cake, glasses, and it was also decided that the day of the sharing would be Friday at 10:30 in the morning after each participant had completed his or her exercise routine.
Gathered in the gym, so called the exercise room, the coordinator of the center gives a few words and invites one of the patients to sing to liven up the atmosphere, we all accompanied her with clapping and some songs as a chorus. 👏🎤🎶.
Then they begin to serve what we bring to share, there was a lot of social interaction, empathy, emotional support as it helps to cope with pain difficulties, mobility problems among other things, it was a participation full of much empathy from the smallest of patients two year old child to the oldest adult.
