Ah, the sea! So much beauty that I can only enjoy a few days a year!
The sea is not only water, sun, beach, food, drink, relaxation, walk, and rest. It also means shopping! Gifts and souvenirs...
While I wait outside the stores, because I get bored shopping and don't want to annoy my wife, I make all sorts of friends. To make the time pass more easily!
This time I was owned by a cat.
As bored as I am...
The house cat... I mean that little shop cat. Now I don't know if it was the cat of the lady selling in the store or if the cat chose to stay there. Maybe she was getting food there?
In any case, she was a very relaxed and friendly cat. I could tell we talked for a while about our lives. She told me more because cats are known to have nine lives!
Maybe she was a tourist like me. Tired of walking and, anyway... they say the sea gets tired...
She left me as naturally as she received me. She fell asleep! I'm probably as boring to cats as I am to people.
I didn't want to disturb her sleep. I kept my eyes in the store window hoping my wife would finish shopping soon.
On holiday again... so I used to say in the past with the start of summer.
On holiday again, I'm so glad I can say that again, even if the holiday I'm referring to is only three days.
Three days by the sea!
In fact, for me, a holiday only means when I get to the sea.
A short holiday on the Black Sea, in Bulgaria, in Balchik!
Three days can mean a lot, but also a little.
On the first day when I arrived in Balchik, the seaside place I love, it seemed to me that three days meant a lot. To think that it might not have been at all.
On the last day, as the time to leave for home approached, I realized again how little it was, and how much I would have liked to be able to stay a few more days.
A saying goes...
"The dissatisfied are robbed of their gift"
So I have to be content with what I got, otherwise I might not get any more!
