Without the bench and the garbage can, the place wouldn't look so flooded.
This photograph was taken the next day ... well, I think, my memory isn't very precise.
This tree is usually out of the water. It looked pretty cool in these new circumstances.
Here you can take a look at the bench from a different angle.
Here you can see a friend of mine driving the tractor towards his farm situated a hundred meters or so from there. The farm is slightly uphill from the pond, so there was no flooding there.
Just another part of the scenery around the pond. Not much to say here.
The mallards didn't mind the flood.
Some photogenic clouds were hanging above the scenery after the rain.
In January of 2010, after days of intense rain, the pond on the edge of my neighborhood grew older than usual and flooded a bit of terrain around it. Nothing catastrophic really happened, but some houses downhill from the pond had a bit of a problem with the excessive water. Here you can take a quick look at the atmosphere of those January days.
AND THAT'S IT. AS ALWAYS IN THESE POSTS ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK.
