This is a scene from the woods in the area around the small town of Svetvichenat. Forty or fifty kilometers north of my hometown.
Here you can see a bunch of acorns on the palm of my friend's hand.
In this triptych, you can see a bit of moss, some galls produced by the tree with a little help from the appropriate wasps, and a few yellow lichens too.
In this single photograph, the focus is on lichen, surrounded by moss, on a stone surrounded by sparse grass and fallen leaves.
The windows of my car were dirty, and some small creature has left an interesting trail in that layer of humid dust accumulated during the summer.
This shot was taken along the coastline in the bay of Medulin, a couple of kilometers from the small village of Pomer.
This is a scene from a different stretch of coastline. A couple of kilometers from another village. The village of Shishan. The water here is deeper and the Adriatic is more open in this area.
In this last photograph, you can take a more up-close look at the vegetation that grows near the sea in that area.
These photographs were taken in the last days of October. The year was 2014, and the camera was some small compact Olympus in bad conditions. Photography wasn't a priority back then, it was more about walking, talking, and joking around, but I managed to get a handful of decent shots.
AS ALWAYS IN THESE POSTS ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK.
