Hoy en día, con tantas herramientas a nuestro alcance como YouTube, blogs, tutoriales y plataformas educativas, surge una pregunta muy válida. ¿Aprender por nuestra cuenta o mejor pagar un profesional? Es una interrogante que yo misma me he planteado varias veces, y que seguro también has pensado alguna vez si estás buscando aprender algo nuevo.
La respuesta, como muchas cosas en la vida, no es tan sencilla. Depende de varios factores como tu presupuesto, el tiempo que tienes disponible, tus prioridades y, sobre todo, qué tan importante es para ti lograr resultados rápidos y de calidad.
Las ventajas de aprender por tu cuenta es que el costo es muy bajo, solo necesitas invertir tu tiempo. Puedes aprender a tu propio ritmo, no hay fechas ni presión.
Puedes elegir qué aprender y cuando, hoy te enfocas en una cosa, mañana en otra, y así. Sin embargo, tienes como desventajas que a veces es muy difícil saber por donde empezar o cómo organizar toda la información. Sin guía clara, es fácil perderse en el camino. Al igual que no tener a alguien que te diga si lo estás haciendo bien o mal, puede retrasar tu progreso.
Por oro lado, pagar por un curso o una mentoría puede parecer una inversión grande, pero a veces es la mejor opción si quieres avanzar rápido y obtener resultados claros. Yo, por ejemplo, decidí pagar un curso online de fotografía y fue un antes y un después. Antes de eso veía tutoriales gratuitos y practicaba por mi cuenta, pero siempre sentía que algo me faltaba. Con el curso, aprendí técnicas que nunca hubiera descubierto sola, sobre todo, mejoré la calidad de mi contenido en tiempo récord.

The advantages of learning on your own is that the cost is very low, you only need to invest your time. You can learn at your own pace, there are no dates or pressure. You can choose what to learn and when, today you focus on one thing, tomorrow on another, and so on. However, you have the disadvantage that sometimes it is very difficult to know where to start or how to organize all the information. Without clear guidance, it is easy to get lost along the way. As well as not having someone to tell you if you are doing it right or wrong, it can slow down your progress.
On the other hand, paying for a course or mentoring may seem like a big investment, but sometimes it is the best option if you want to move fast and get clear results. I, for example, decided to pay for an online photography course and it was a before and after. Before that I watched free tutorials and practiced on my own, but I always felt that something was missing. With the course, I learned techniques that I would never have discovered on my own, and above all, I improved the quality of my content in record time.
