Colorful beach photography with my girl - Deranged Photography Contest "Amateur Entry"

Back again with my entry to a new week's Deranged Photography Contest (hosted by Hive account@derangedvisions and Hive account@liketu). The theme for this week is "World of Color". Last week was all about monochrome, but this week is all about that color. I have put together some of my favorite photos that are absolutely filled to the brim with color. All of these images are from two separate beach trips last summer with my girlfriend Hive account@flowerbaby.

I miss the beach so damn much and cannot believe that last July was the last time that I smelled that unforgettable scent of saltwater. Watching waves crashing has a way of eliminating time from existence and there is nothing that makes you feel more present than floating in neck-deep water and letter the sea smash you over and over with tides of unpredictable strength.

We were able to make it down to Florida twice last summer. The first time was a visit to Saint Augustine and the second was Daytona Beach. I can say without a doubt that we enjoyed the shit out of both places and look forward to going back to the beach more this summer.

These are some of my favorite photos ever for many reasons. I am obsessed with color and those levels are off the charts in these images. Another huge reason why these turned out so great is the fact that Hive account@flowerbaby and I both are peaking in terms of happiness. You can just tell by the smiles on our faces that we truly love the beach.
