After church on Sunday, me and my friends went to one of my favorite places to go for lunch that serves western and local Asian stir fry dishes. Its a fusion place that does justice to both western and Asian food.
Its a shop runned by a family of father, mother, and son. The father cooks the Asian stir fry dishes, the mother cooks the pasta and western dishes, and the son takes the orders and manages the cash register. They have great teamwork and are always friendly and ready to serve.
I went the Asian route and ordered their butter squid and chicken with fried rice. Their fried rice are amazing so if you order any of their fried rice, it's sure to be extremely satisfying.
The dish also comes with a side of their 'sambal belacan' which is their homemade chili with shrimp paste. It's salty, savory, spicy and full of umami flavors that you need to have for each bite with their superb fried rice.
The squid was tender and tasty and paired with the chicken really well. It was Buttery and savory making the whole meal really satisfying.
I also ordered back some food for dinner which I didn't take the pictures.
