It has been a few days since Yoshi's shed and he is pretty much back to his normal self. He has been eating quite a bit lately, but I am not sure how many crickets he is eating each day because some of them escape from his enclosure and I find them hopping around in the room and I have even found a couple of them in the bathroom near the room. I am going to be happy when Yoshi is eating the larger crickets because these little ones can break out pretty easily.
Right now I am paying about $6 a week to buy the crickets that he eats and it is a bit annoying because so many of them die before he is able to eat them. It is usually about 1/4 of crickets that end up dying before he is able to eat them. When he is able to eat the larger crickets, I don't think that there will be as many of them wasted. Mainly because I wont have to buy as many and he will eat a lot less of them because for every large cricket, it is equal to about 3 of the "medium" crickets that he is currently eating.
Right now, it is about 6pm and Yoshi is getting himself ready for the lights to go out and he is finding the spot where he is going to be sleeping. The grow room wont be as bright the first couple hours that his light goes off either because I was able to pull the green crack out of the tent and it is starting its 48 hours of darkness before harvest, and I was able to turn one of the grow lights off. I will be getting some pictures of it when it is ready for harvest. I am really looking forward to trimming that one up because I think it is going to be my largest harvest so far. It is a pretty massive plant. I moved it into the 2X2 tent and it is almost too big for that one, which is crazy because that was the tent that it spent most of its life in. It only spent like the last few weeks in the larger tent with all the lights, so it would have been crazy to see how big it could have gotten if it was in that tent the whole time. It will be cool to see how the new plants do in there.
