Hoy tuve que acudir al dentista debido a una inesperada molestia en el área de las muelas, me encontré con una sorpresa. Si bien el dolor se concentraba en la zona de las muelas, la causa no era odontológica, el problema radicaba en mi mandíbula y al parecer, mi hábito de rechinar los dientes mientras duermo también conocido como bruxismo nocturno, ha comenzado a generar mayores complicaciones.
Today I had to go to the dentist due to unexpected discomfort in the molar area, I found a surprise. Although the pain was concentrated in the area of the teeth, the cause was not dental, the problem was in my jaw and apparently, my habit of grinding my teeth while I sleep, also known as nocturnal bruxism, has begun to generate greater complications.
Esto lejos de ser una situación dramática, representa para mi una oportunidad para abordar este problema de raíz y recuperar la tranquilidad durante mis horas de descanso. Estoy plenamente seguro de que con el apoyo profesional adecuado, superaré este pequeño problema y alcanzaré el bienestar que tanto anhelo.
This, far from being a dramatic situation, represents for me an opportunity to address this problem at its roots and regain peace of mind during my rest hours. I am fully confident that with the right professional support, I will overcome this small problem and achieve the well-being I so long for.
Esta experiencia me ha recordado la importancia de cuidar nuestra salud bucal y de no ignorar las señales que nos envía nuestro cuerpo, no simplemente debemos lavar y cuidar nuestros dientes también debemos estar al pendiente de la presión que ejercemos sobre ellos al cerrar nuestra boca sobretodo en momentos de estrés o al momento de intentar conciliar el sueño.
This experience has reminded me of the importance of taking care of our oral health and not ignoring the signals that our body sends us. We must not simply wash and care for our teeth, we must also be aware of the pressure we exert on them by closing our mouth, especially in moments of stress or when trying to fall asleep.
