Los Frailers Beach - Some Photographs

I was born on the Pacific coast, in the middle of the world, Ecuador, so from a very young age I have always visited the ocean 🌊, I have been able to enjoy the beaches and I have many anecdotes about it.

I had a year without visiting it, without hearing the sound of the waves, without smelling its aroma and without feeling the fresh breeze that surrounds us and plays with my hair. Standing in front of the sea, observing it, enjoying its immensity and fullness, is something that fills me with peace and therefore I dream of enjoying it a lot.

In this visit, I show you Los Frailes Beach, one of the best beaches in the Province of Manabi, Ecuador. This beach belongs to the Machalilla National Park and I like it because it is private, and because it is a bit far from the road, it is not so crowded with tourists and it is quite clean and wide, appropriate to enjoy the stay there.

In the pictures I show you the beach, also a place where there are some caves, but the access there is impossible, as it is a very rocky area and therefore you can only get close as long as the tide does not rise. As it is directly on the Pacific Ocean it is easier for the tide to come in without warning, the day I went there it was cloudy and there was a yellow flag on the beach, which means you have to be careful with the tide and the waves.

I hope you enjoy these pictures, it's something I'm still practicing, I particularly liked some of the colours I was able to capture. I'll tell you a bit more about this place and the family outing we had later.

Nací en la costa del Pacífico, en la mitad del mundo, Ecuador, así que desde muy pequeña siempre he visitado el océano 🌊, he podido disfrutar de las playas y tengo muchas anécdotas al respecto.

Tenía un año sin visitarlo, sin oír el sonido de las olas, sin oler su aroma y sin sentir la brisa fresca que nos rodea y juega con mi cabello. Pararme frente a el mar, observarlo, disfrutar su inmensidad y plenitud, es algo que me inunda de paz y por lo tanto sueño disfrutarlo mucho.

En esta visita, les muestro la Playa de los Frailes, una de las mejores de la Provincia de Manabi, Ecuador. Está playa pertenece al Parque Nacional de Machalilla y me gusta porque es privada, además al estar algo lejos de la vía, no se llena tanto de turistas y es bastante limpia y amplia, apropiada para disfrutar la estadía allí.

En las imágenes les muestro la playa, también un lugar donde hay unas cuevas, pero el acceso allí es imposible, ya que es una zona muy rocosa y por tanto solo se puede llegar cerca mientras la marea no suba. Al ser directamente el océano Pacífico es más fácil de que suba la marea sin previo aviso, el día que fui estaba nublado y además había bandera amarilla en la playa, lo cual significa que hay que tener precaución con la marea y las olas.
