Estoy con ustedes nuevamente en ésta hermosa comunidad de Liketu compartiendo unas lindas fotos del Barco "LEANDER" que se encuentra en El Parque del Este de Caracas.

Me encuentro muy feliz y agradecida a Dios, de realizar este paseo hoy en compañía de mi hija Hive account@enmy a este lugar tan bello, lleno de buenas energías y muchas personas buscando y observando las diferentes áreas de entretenimientos que lo conforma o simplemente caminar, hacer picnic, bailoterapias, paseos en botes en la laguna, también disfrutar de las diferentes canchas deportivas, bueno yo practiqué bádminton, me gustó mucho, caminé bastante, tomé fotografías, por último entramos al Barco que utilizó nuestro Precursor Francisco de Miranda, que lleva por nombre " LEANDER ".

I am very happy and grateful to God, to take this walk today in the company of my daughter Hive account@enmy to this beautiful place, full of good energy and many people looking for and observing the different entertainment areas that make it up or simply walking, doing picnic, dance therapy, boat rides in the lagoon, also enjoy the different sports fields, well I practiced badminton, I liked it a lot, I walked a lot, I took pictures, finally we entered the boat used by our Forerunner Francisco de Miranda, which takes name " LEANDER ".

Me fascinó entrar a este barco que perteneció a tan ilustre personaje de nuestra Historia de Venezuela. Realizamos la cola para entrar en grupos de 20 integrantes, se cancela en la taquilla las entradas donde le colocan un brazalete a las personas para identificarlas, luego entramos al LEANDER, en la entrada tiene arriba de la puerta la flor de Liz que significa el norte que era ganar la libertad, después pasamos los diferentes área donde estaban los armeros que manejaban los cañones, también el taller para reparar las armas, el lugar donde se encontraban las provisiones, el áreas donde mantenían los animales, el espacio donde dormían en las hamacas o chinchorros, áreas del lugar para comer y confeccionar los trajes de uniformes de los 211 tripulantes de la nave y la imprenta donde realizaban los libros del Precursor, también la despensa y la cocina donde preparaban los alimentos que funcionaba con leña. En esa área también estaba la oficina del Precursor y de sus diez adecanes.

I was fascinated to enter this ship that belonged to such an illustrious character from our Venezuelan History. In that area was also the office of the Forerunner and his ten adecans.

Después subimos donde se encuentra la proa también allí exiten diferentes áreas; el de los mecates, el del jardín que es el lugar donde se aseaban y hacían sus necesidades fisiológicas, también en la popa dónde se encuentra la campana para hacer el llamado de emergencias, se encuentra la brújula, el timón que cuando había tormentas era manipulado por cuatro hombres porque si era uno solo, se les partía las muñecas de las manos a los tripulantes. Es importante resaltar que este barco fué reinaugurado 13 de febrero del presente año, que es un barco traído al lugar y que anteriormente existía uno que fue utilizado por Cristóbal Colón, nos lo relató la joven que nos acompañó de guía. Les invito a disfrutar de este hermoso Parque y traer a la familia y especialmente venir a conocer éste maravilloso barco, es como revivir aquellos momentos de 1810 a 1811 cuando llegó a Venezuela.
