The weather is cold and the season is upon us. Which means I've been wearing some of my favorite Christmas socks. These socks are of varying festive styles, but each one is cozy and fun.
A New Tradition Is Born
A few years back my sister gave me a pair of "Reading Socks" for Christmas. I had no idea socks were anything more than what you wore with your shoes. Apparently Barnes & Noble (where she purchased the pair she gave me) has a whole section on Reading Socks.

I quickly became a fan once I began enjoying how comfortable and cozy they felt. A cold winter day was made all the better whenever I wore them. Each Christmas since, I ask for comfy, cozy, soft socks as a gift. And boy has my family delivered!
The first photo is of my favorite Christmas-themed comfy socks:
The puppy-dog candy cane striped pair is light-weight and very soft. Plus it is downright adorable!
The grey pom-pom socks are thick and quite comfortable. They have no-slip grip pads on the bottom. Which is good for safe walking on slick flooring, but not so great on the days I feel like sliding across the floor Risky Business style.
The reindeer socks are the most fun to look at and bring a smile to my face even now just thinking about them. The second photo is of me wearing them as I sit on the steps soaking in the warm sun on a beautiful winter day.
The red pair has a Santa Claus vibe to them and fits right in line with the holiday season.

Normally at this time of year folks are sharing their ugly sweater pics. Let's start something new. Instead of ugly sweaters, I invite you to share your favorite #ChristmasSocks or #HolidaySocks.
