I'd hoped to post these snaps a long time ago, but I believe I must have forgotten it. I've been having problems adjusting to my new schedule at that time while also being away from my friends and couldn't have time to bond with them and so I tried to make myself busy and unwind at the mall.
I was whining about a lot of things as we were walking, yet I was enthralled by what I saw. I saw this incredibly brilliant man and felt horrible because when he discovered that I was taking a photo and watching him, he abruptly stopped, but I couldn't stop appreciating his artwork.
I asked him how much it cost, and he politely said that it cost 2,500 pesos for this and 1,000 pesos if he only needed to draw one thing/object or person.
As you can see, this person uses his talent to make a fair living, and I applaud him.
After a few minutes, we continued walking along the hallway where some stalls is built and we spotted various lovely accessories and decorations for sale.
Though I was tempted to buy some, I restrained myself since I didn't want to squander my money.
When I left the mall, I couldn't stop thinking about the talented man I saw and how there are people who have gone through adversity in life but don't complain and use their talent to strive each day. I admit I was acting ungrateful because I believed I deserved to be on the morning shift because of my ranking, but I wasn't grateful that I have a job that can help me and my family.
Life Lesson= Always be thankful for what you have and consider each opportunity a gift.
