Ayer después de varios días sin salir a caminar pude dar poco más de los 7k pasos que me he propuesto como actividad diaria. Cómo la caminata en el fondo es una actividad mediativa y que invita a la contemplación al pasar por cierta plaza note un árbol particularmente colorido.
Repleto de flores rojas me detuve a verlo un momento, y decidí tomarle unas fotos con mi smartphone. No fueron tantas, no me detuve demasiado tiempo ⏱️ solo lo suficiente para tomar estás tres fotos que hoy les traído en mi blog.
Creo que para la cultura japonesa los árboles rojos simbolizan la belleza efímera (imagino que por el otoño) y que pienso que en lo efímero radica belleza en sobre abundancia o eso me gusta pensar.
Por dicha plaza a veces paso varias veces por semana y debo decir que no había notado la existencia de este árbol que me encantó su color, pocas veces se ven árboles totalmente rojos. A diferencia del color amarillo que si hay más árboles de ese tipo, el árbol nacional de Venezuela es el Araguaney y precisamente es un árbol amarillo.
Me preguntó si será pariente de este arbusto de flores rojas. No lo sé, pero sería interesante saberlo.

Yesterday, after several days without going for a walk, I managed to take just over the 7,000 steps I’ve set as my daily goal. Since walking is, at its core, a meditative activity that invites contemplation, as I passed through a certain square, I noticed a particularly colorful tree.
Covered in red flowers, I stopped to look at it for a moment and decided to take some photos with my smartphone. I didn’t take many—I didn’t linger too long ⏱️—just long enough to snap these three photos that I’m sharing with you today on my blog.
I think that in Japanese culture, red trees symbolize fleeting beauty (I imagine because of autumn), and I believe that in the fleeting lies beauty in abundance—or at least that’s what I like to think.
I sometimes pass by that square several times a week, and I must say I hadn’t noticed this tree before; I loved its color—it’s rare to see trees that are completely red. Unlike yellow trees, of which there are more—Venezuela’s national tree is the Araguaney, and it happens to be yellow.
I wonder if it’s related to this red-flowered shrub. I don’t know, but it would be interesting to find out.
