Me medio del caos hay momentos apacibles, ya son más de 24 horas de periplos hospitalarios en el hospital central universitario de Barquisimeto. Aunque pueden sobre abundar quejas, y sobre abundar frases hostiles y despotricar hasta quedarme sin aliento. El sistema de salud Venezolano es un tedio y la burocracia es todo un tema, simplemente hay cosas que no logro entender y creo prefiero no entender.
Ya contaré si me apetece como han sido estos días. Días dónde me ha tocado hacer check a experiencias que normalmente no se consideran.
Lo cierto es que en medio del caos puedes apreciar cierta belleza y la naturaleza puede ser un foco de atención que nos aparta de las preocupaciones y nos hace pensar en algo diferente. Ya eso es muy positivo.

Amid the chaos, there are moments of calm; it’s been more than 24 hours of coming and going at the Barquisimeto University Central Hospital. Although I could vent my frustrations, spew hostile remarks, and rant until I’m out of breath. The Venezuelan healthcare system is a nightmare, and the bureaucracy is a whole other story; there are simply things I can’t understand—and I think I’d rather not understand them.
I’ll tell you, if I feel like it, what these days have been like. Days in which I’ve had to face experiences that are normally overlooked.
The truth is that, amid the chaos, a certain beauty can be appreciated, and nature can be a focal point that draws us away from our worries and makes us think about something different. That in itself is very positive.
