This week's theme for deranged photography contest is macro, so I stepped outside "armed" with my 100 mm macro lens to take pictures of some tiny but beautiful flowers that grow in a pot. As I did so, I noticed the lavender's bloom that is quite unusual and I turned my lens to it. And then I noticed the ants, lots of ants! For some (incomprehensible to me) reason, they seem to enjoy going up and down the lavender leaves. Of course I tried to take a few pictures of them too, but boy they move fast! I don't know how much time I spent trying to capture a few descent shots but it was a lot :)
All the pictures and the words are mine.
