In the past few days, I've been posting about my walks around the places in Singapore that I go to. I must say that this is a fun way to practice street photography and it also improves my health. As they say, I should do 10,000 steps a day. I don't know why but it is contributing well to my overall wellness. Yesterday, while I was on the MRT, many people had a cold or cough. I'm thankful that I didn't catch their disease. I don't like the feeling of catching a cold because I find it annoying. That's why I've been trying my best to stay as healthy as possible and I'm doing everything to keep my immune system from going down.
Last night I went for a walk in the Rochor area; it is next to Bugis and Little India. I noticed in the Rochor area there are many Indian restaurants and shops. I also saw many jewelry shops selling beautifully crafted gold jewelry and accessories. So if you want to shop for gold jewelry, you can visit this place. It's a little crowded because it's a holiday. There's a festive mood in the air and I can tell that people are happy. I can also see that I enjoy shopping.
I will come back here to try the food. They all look authentic and the smell of curry on the street is so alluring; it smells appetizing while I photo walk around. There are also street vendors who sell their cooked food. How I wish that there will be more street-side food vendors in this area because the restaurants are a bit intimidating and the food prices seem expensive. Unlike the street side food stalls, the prices are more affordable.
I will be back soon at Rochor to try the food!
