One day we tried to cook my favorite soup at home and that is Vietnam Pho Bo.
In the end, it wasn't as complicated as it seemed, and the result was worth it.
For inspiration, I also enclose a simpler recipe.

Recipe for 4 people:
BROTH
- 200-400 g of beef
- 50 g of ginger
- 4-8 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 onion
- 20 balls of black pepper
- 3 stars star anise
- 2 pieces of whole black cardamom
- 2 pieces of cloves
- 2 whole cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 stick of garlic
SOUP INSERT
- 50 g noodles pho
- 50 g of mung sprouts
- 4 chili peppers
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 red onion
- 1 spring onion
- 1 lime
- sprig of coriander
Put the beef mixture for the soup in a baking dish together with the onion (with the skin, only cut in half), a halved garlic stick (also with the skin), ginger cut into thicker slices, star anise, whole cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and whole pepper. Bake everything in the oven at 250 ° C for about 15 minutes.
2Then transfer everything to a large pot, add salt, sugar, fish sauce, pour 2 liters of water and let it simmer for 3-4 hours on a low flame. The longer we stretch, the richer the broth and the nicer the color. At the same time, the need for more frequent water replenishment increases with the length of the draw.
3When cooking the broth in a pot, cook the rice noodles. As soon as they can be halved with their finger (after about 3 minutes), drain the noodles immediately and rinse with cold water. We cut the cleaned steak into thin slices, cut the red onion in half, and also cut it into slices. Cut the spring onion into sloping circles.
4We put all the ingredients for the soup insert on a plate, add boiled, sliced broth meat and pour the strained broth over it. Finally, we can garnish with fresh herbs and serve the dish.
