Last month, I attend a cosplayer event in the city and this is my very first visit to this kind of event. I usually didn't visit this type of event because usually this event is not really advertise widely. They only spread around the events news around the cosplayer community. Luckily, I got to know this event through a friend and I would like to see how is the vibe and the crowd. To my surprise, there's actually a lot of cosplayer in this city and mostly they are the new generation of people and anime that I didn't know these days. There's only a few that I do recognized their character but mostly they were new to me. So, I took a chance to shoot a few portraits of them and they were really eager to be shoot, showcasing their costume. Some of the props that they bring, they build it their self and I'm amazed by how creative they are in building it to the details. Now days, its actually easy to build this props with the help of YouTube tutorial and also the equipment needed is also easily available in stationary shop or if not found around the city, can order online. Since that I found this event is quite interesting, I will attend again this event in the near future. Seems like the cosplayer community is quite active these days organizing this kind of event almost every week. Finding this event in future might not really that hard anymore as they were starting to get expose to the community around and they also starts to advertise in the social media. The one big event that all of this cosplayer anticipated is the year end Hobbicon that will be held somewhere in November that will happen for 2 to 3 days. I'm looking forward to this event and hopefully will be available to attend and see what is the vibe feels like since I've never attend it before. Until next post, have a great day everyone.
