I made great progress cleaning up my house today.
No member of my family, including myself, is good at cleaning or tidying up. I usually try to keep things as little as possible because our rooms get messy as soon as we get distracted. For the past few years, my habit has been to say, "Can I throw this away?" ... Instead of being bad at tidying up, I try to discard as much as possible and prevent my room from becoming cluttered. Today was one of those days. I threw away things that were broken, things we didn't need, and things we didn't use anymore, and the whole house was much cleaner.
In the evening, when we were almost done with cleaning, we went to a nearby shopping mall to have dinner. There I found an exhibition of armor of warlords of the Warring States period (1467-1568)! Not the real thing, of course, but... the armor of Hideyoshi Toyotomi, Ieyasu Tokugawa, Nobunaga Oda, and Shingen Takeda were each displayed in the middle of an aisle.
I have seen something about the armor of Hideyoshi Toyotomi and Shingen Takeda, but it is gaudy.... Oda Nobunaga was surprisingly plain. If I knew more about history, I would have a lot more to comment, but I am sorry I can only write these impressions.

今日は家の片づけが捗った日でした。
うちには私も含め、掃除や片付けが得意な人間がいません。。気を抜くとすぐに散らかってしまうため、普段からなるべくモノを置かないようにしています。ここ数年の私の口癖は「これ、棄てていい？」・・・片付けが苦手な代わりになるべく捨てるようにして、汚部屋化を防いでいます。今日も棄てるDayで、壊れたもの、要らないもの、もう使っていないものをポイポイ棄てて、だいぶ家全体がスッキリしました。
あらかた片付いた夕方頃、近くのショッピングモールへ晩御飯を食べに行きました。そこで見つけたのが、戦国武将の甲冑展示！もちろん本物ではありませんが・・・豊臣秀吉、徳川家康、織田信長、武田信玄の甲冑がそれぞれ、通路の真ん中にデデン！と展示されていたのです。
豊臣秀吉と武田信玄の甲冑は何かで見たことがありますが、派手ですね・・・。織田信長が意外と地味でした。歴史に詳しかったらもっと色々コメントしたいところですが、こんな感想しか書けずすみません😿
