It was the first day of school holidays and I was basically tired so I wanted to laze around in the house. But I know it is a rare opportunity for me to bring the boys out especially when the weather was so fine and it was not raining. I was recovering from a bad flu the day before so I think my body did feel tired.
I know being in the greenery or a park is actually one of my remedies.
So I contacted to ask if she was keen to check out a park that I have never been to because this park is a 30-minute drive away from home. We used to try to make it there but the weather did not permit.
This evening, it was the perfect timing and weather! After Michelle came over to my place, we set off to the Desa Park City neighbourhood. It is a classy neighbourhood with many condominiums and bungalows and all types of residential houses. However this neighbourhood is well known for being super pets-friendly. Everyone seems to know that the restaurants here especially in a mall nearby called Plaza Arkadia allows pets dine-in.
Desa Park City's Central Park
Desa Park City itself has a few parks. I have seen many recommendations over the Xiao Hong Shu app. I am thinking we could just explore the main park first which is the Central Park. We arrived at their entrance, firstly greeted by a playground for the children. Even over here, we could see pet parents bringing their pets in their strollers and some were walking their dogs.
Over here we met a very friendly Golden Retriever named Bruno. She is already 7 years old. Her owner was friendly to tell us many things about her, including this dog being a very willful dog. She was huge and she knows where she wanted to go - the pets shop for some treats so she refused to let her owner bring her elsewhere. Hahaha!
Scenery at the Park
As we walked and enjoyed the scenery, I realized this park is very well maintained in terms of its cleanliness and hygiene. The whole park is very well kept and it has many stations where there are bags to be taken to clean after the dogs if they pooped. So we did not see a single poop on the walkway at all. It was safe and easy to walk at. The landscapes was also very zen, adopting a Japanese feeling and vibe. It gives out a clam and serene feeling, with some mini waterfalls and streams. Not forget to mention, the big lake in the middle of the park was also very calm. There was a sculpture of a mother and a child too. Benches were all clean and welcoming.
The Big Field for Dogs to Run
I love this big piece of field where we saw many dog were running freely without leashes. They get to exercise and we could see the smiles of the dogs' faces.
I met my favorite dog breed here which is a corgi with the friendliest owners who encouraged my children to pat their 6-month-old corgi, Lu Dan 卤蛋。I got to know they spent RM5000 to get her. Wow! She was so cute and I was delighted I could finally take a picture with a corgi!!
We walked a bit more and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. Just then, suddenly a girl fell into the lake, not knowing if intentionally or not. We saw her getting up and did ask if she was okay. She was laughing so I think she was alright.
