After looking at the rock formations along the Pacific coast of Okino Island, we continued cycling round the coast and came to Iojima Bridge, which links Okino and Iojima to the mainland of Nagasaki.
I didn't realize the bridge was so curvacious until I got quite close to it.
The Leonian sun seems very leonine which its shaggy mane bursting over the edge of the bridge, don't you think? For all that, he didn't burn me up as much today as he did yesterday.
From here it was a short cycle ride to the Magome Catholic church of Saint Michael Archangel (see one of my previous pics) and back to our hotel (though we cycled on well beyond the hotel for a while.
When it was time to leave the island, we did not go over the bridge, but caught the ferry back to the port close to the centre of Nagasaki city.
Cheers!
