A pretty effigy that looks like the splitting image of the house owner :)
Zooming out, that's how it looked.
Another glance and she really looks like the lady of the house :)
She's got company. Must be the gardener as she's wearing gloves :)
Let's take a closer look :)
These three seem to be having a lil meeting :D
Colorful paints on the stone walls and some recycled plastics as windmills.
We drove out from the house around 8 am to attend a funeral somewhere in another town. On the way, we get past some fun stuff along the streets which I think were interestingly creative so I took photos of them whilst the car was on normal speed.
Beautification and or keeping the street walls colorful is becoming common in most places in the region. I think it's a program sponsored by the government or it may have been the initiative of the community themselves. And it's good. It makes traversing the roads a bit more fun.
Here are just some of that were found on the same road, a few blocks away from each other.
The first five photos were along the cute house of Lady J. They are made of upcycled materials (bottle caps, rubbers, and garments). One of the ladies (first photo) was almost the look-alike of the house owner. I wonder if they intentionally drawn the face to be her splitting image or maybe I just thought they look the same, lol!😅
The next (6th & 7th photo) were in front of another house some 200-300 yards away. I asked the husband to slow down a bit when I sighted them. They were a little farther away from the road so the photos were a bit blurry but I'm posting them anyway.
The last one was of the stonewall along the same street. It's quite fun to see the bright colors and the plastic, decorative windmills out of recycled plastic materials which plays along as the wind blows on them.
Similar colors and things were seen a few more blocks but was unable to photograph them as the husband sped away just so we don't miss the funeral services. We thought we'd take photos on the way home but we came back late so wasn't able to do that.
Perhaps next time? We shall see :)
