And captured 2 seconds later...
Sundown, 8th Feb (at 17:58)
Sunday evening up here in the mountains. The day had been amazing albeit breezy throughout the afternoon and has now calmed down so it’s really quiet which is just so nice. Not a car honking or motorbike roaring. Even the neighbor's cat that often comes around and meows during this time of day seems to have gone to sleep early, lol! We do hear some faint dog barks but it's nothing disturbing.
So yeah... simply blissful!
It was the opposite on the previous night though where the wind seemed to be very angry lashing here and there that we can hear the swishing and whirling of the tree branches outside. It did stop around midnight when I was just about to sleep.
Glad that isn't the case tonight.
Anyhow, today's photos are the sunsets of 4-5 days ago, seen from our yard. The sun had been so generous recently and without clouds up in the sky, the heat is quite unbearable between 10 am to 4 pm on most days.
The good thing is that after 4, the sky colors usually change completely as the sun starts to set. Golden rays are seen and clouds start to hover over the horizon.

And the evening cools down... then it becomes chilly it makes you tremble, lol!
The first 3 slides are on the 7th. I was able to watch the sundown earlier just past 5 pm. The next day, I was occupied on something else that by the time I went out to check the sky, it was already getting dark being just a few minutes before 6 pm. I was happy though to have caught up with the colors before they disappeared completely.

"Summer has come," the husband said and indeed! I think we are going to see more golden displays or some fiery colors as the weather becomes a lot warmer.
