Trying to survive...
Cosmos Flower (Sagada)
The husband called and he will be coming home late which means I will be having some extended online time until he arrives maybe around 10 pm. Good... really good, lol!
Meanwhile, I was sorting my gallery when I found some photos of yellow flowers and decided to share them today.
Canna Lily (Downtown)

Photos taken on the 30th of January along the street just outside the gate of a cute house somewhere downtown while we were walking back to the car from the saloon. There were not many people on the street so I took the chance and quickly taken 3 snaps, lol!
I was just glad there were no CCTV cameras along that street and by the house where these flowers were. I just imagined how funny I may have looked while capturing these, haha!
Common sunflower (in Ilocos Sur)

While waiting for our turn to use the loo, we took a little stroll outside the snack house's yard and that was when I noticed the sunflowers. They were already withering and their leaves had lots of holes in them, probably munched by insects or worms. I only assumed that the shop owner must have been really busy and forgot to give them some love and care.
They also have some pink roses, a bunch of pink and yellow anthuriums, bushes and other plants (including bananas) along the edges of their yard. Add to that a roaster inside a cage and I had to restrain myself from including it here, lol!
Yellow Cosmos (Sagada)

These were photographed when we were climbing back after a short trek to Lumiang Cave. It's quite fascinating that while most of their branches and stems have wilted, the flowers are still looking vibrant.
Photos are my own. 19022023/21:50ph
