A 2-month old eggplant :)
A garlic which I just transplanted a week ago.
Cathedral Bells (Air plant) blooming at the backyard.
Sunburst also thriving all year round. These little buds will soon pop (burst) open into beautiful flowers.
This Agapanthus welcomes anyone who passes by the east side of the yard.
My lone money tree fruiting.
The lemon tree continues to give us and the neighbors its fruits.
"Gardens are not made by singing "Oh, how beautiful," and sitting in the shade."
And it's Saturday already, whew!
This is kind of a continuation of yesterday's post. I think it is perfect to incorporate them on my progress update for the Saturday Savers Club report because to me, they pertain to similar thing or concept, if I may say so which is growth.
Much like the goals we are trying to achieve for the year, growing these plants also require some work and patience.

(One of 6 eggplant seedlings that were planted in December)
Just as we need to water and care for the plants for them to grow and bear fruits which we will benefit from in time of harvest, we also have to remain consistent in our effort to work towards our goals until the time when we get to start reaping the rewards from them.
Speaking of which (and before I get lost in thoughts, lol), let me just share first how I did for the week with regards to my primary and secondary goals here on the blockchain. Here's the table from week 1:

Leo Power
A very tiny percentage (0.05%) or 50LP was added during the week. As I have mentioned on my previous update, I paused my LEO staking in preparation for the Leo Power Up Day (LPUD) which will be happening in 4 days. Hope to be able to power up more by then.
Until then, the work still continues.
Hive Power
- 22 HP (2.92%) added. 7 was from staking of one HIVE daily and 15 HP from author rewards. I realized my current total Hive Power has just crossed 50% of my HP goal for the year.
These numbers represent small growths on both LP and HP but they still spell progress towards the end goal. And so I'm giving myself a pat for trying and pushing on.
I do understand that planting and growing takes time so we need a bit more patience to nurture and tend to whatever we are wanting to grow and enjoy the process while doing so.
Meanwhile, in real life (IRL):
The eggplants are growing painstakingly slow even when they are already turning 2 months old. It will take long before we are going to see any harvest but it's okay. We will continue to tend to them for we know months from now, we'd get to pick their fruits and enjoy them on our table.
My lone garlic plant (second slide) is looking good. I'm hoping it will become my very first successful trial. I have been trying to grow one for a few years now but none really made it.
Some of my ornamental plants (3rd to 6th slides) bearing flowers that although I tend to forget them once in a while, they still thrive. But then again, before they became what they are now, I had to plant them before and spent some time and effort caring for them until they grew roots.
The lemon tree (last slide) is still providing us and our neighbors free fruits. But know that it took years of waiting and rearing before we get to enjoy the harvest.
And just as we do in the real world, we gotta do the same on-chain with hope that someday, all our efforts are going to pay off. I believe that the Hive ecosystem will continue to grow and thrive and let's keep on and thrive along with it.
