Golden rays peeking through the trees...
More prominent golden shades with the blue skies.
Getting a little closer...
Giving it a zoom... some more... and bam!
The sky at some two minutes later...
Viewing it farther...

A cool Thursday morning up here in the mountains. The rain was plenty yesterday late afternoon (4 pm) and it went on through the night. Not sure what time it stopped as I went to bed earlier than usual and slept like never before, thanks to the pampering I had - a really good, soothing whole body massage. Such is always appreciated.
Anyhow, the fog is hovering above the valley at the time of this writing. And although such (sea of clouds) is a common sight for us, I'm still surprised and wowed each time. They are just one of those free things which we are grateful to be enjoying for free and we couldn't get enough of.
Mr. Sun did peek through for a while some 30 minutes ago and then hid itself behind the clouds afterwards. It's like they both had a deal to give each other some play time today so I'm guessing it will be a less sunny day compared to yesterday where the sunshine was so generous and the clouds were no where in sight. Well, not until late afternoon when some really thick and dark ones suddenly showed up by the east, the thunder roared for a while, then the rain poured soon after.
But it's going to be a great day no matter what...
Meanwhile, the husband went to the neighbors on Tuesday evening to check on things and he got some good romantic time with the gorgeous skies. Like me, he can't say no to such beauty and would take time to enjoy and capture them on camera.
It was half-past six when these were captured and he was on his way to Mr G's house which is some one hundred meters away from the spot where I imagine he was standing at while taking the shots.
We did watch the start of the golden hour from the yard before the husband left for the neighbors. This was one of the earlier scene that evening.
The last photo on the slides was captured from down the property. It shows a part of the landscape behind the house. We have been to many hikes on that jungle and it reminded me it's been a long while since the last time. Hopefully, our good muscles will allow us another trek soon... not today though for we are not in a hiking mood. Besides, the trails can be dangerously slippery after the night's rain.
Until then, it will be just another lazy day for us in our lil abode - him on his gaming and Hiving for me of course! And who knows, we might just randomly think about going out elsewhere. Will see...
