The Burnham Lake & Park, Harrison Road, and the city hills...
A bit closer...
A glimpse of Athletic Bowl's track et al...
A little shift and I see more (Quirino & Quezon Hill), plus the Baguio Cathedral (the far right)...
Yesterday, I shared about our little adventure at the Sky Terrace in the City of Baguio where I mentioned that we enjoyed the cityscape from up there. And guess I'll have to share those sights today.
Just to give a little bit of introduction to the only city up here in the mountains, Baguio is a highly urbanized city in the Cordilleras in Northern Luzon. It is popularly known as the "Summer Capital of the Philippines" and one of the favorite destinations for tourists from the different parts of the country due to its cool weather and pleasant climate.
In addition, there are various attractions (Burnham Park, Mines View Park, Camp John Hay and many more, including those in the neighboring places).

The city is also home to educational centers like the Philippine Military Academy (PMA), Saint Louis University (SLU, my alma matter), University of the Philippines, University of Baguio and many more.
Speaking of which, here's a glimpse of the University of the Cordilleras which is strategically located in proximity to the supermall.

If I remember correctly, I also shared a few photos of the same school many moons ago when the Sky Terrace is yet to exist. These I'm sharing today were viewed and taken from up the garden earlier this month.
Behind the university is Athletic Bowl's 400m synthetic track. The sports complex is around 7 hectares and is located within the grounds of Burnham Park.

Seen a bit far on this shots below is the Burnham Lake where one can have fun with a boat ride or simply sit along the green grass around it and watch time and people pass by.😊

Quirino and Quezon Hills farther in the distance and the Cathedral at the far right.

I must admit that although I have visited most of the city's attractions a couple of times, I'm yet to see its every nook and cranny. Hope to be able to explore at least half of it in this lifetime.
And here's to share a music video which introduces the city from as bar back as many years ago.
