We were passing by the valley sometime ago when I asked the husband to slow down just so I could take a photo or two of the upcycled tyres along the street. There were not many cars passing by and he was kind enough to pull over for a while and get them for me so I didn't have to get out. Just when we were about to leave, I noticed some cute and interesting murals on the outside walls of a computer shop which at that time was still closed.
"Wait please," I requested then immediately got off my seat and out of the car to take some snapshots. There were a few bystanders in the next door shops looking at me like I was lost or something so I suddenly felt shy but went for it anyway. I even took the short stairs down, closer to the artworks and got some more pictures.
"Quick, the owner might see you. He's just upstairs!" the husband teased so I ran back inside the car. I felt my heartbeat racing like I have been chased by a mad dog. I was quite pleased with my little adventure and as I was putting my seat belt on, the thought came, "why the hell did I run?" Why indeed? LOL!
Anyhow, one of the murals was a depiction of a traditional ritual of old folks many decades ago which we only read on books. I'm not even sure whether it was ours or of another region's. I tried making a quick research but was unable to find any significant info. Wherever it may have been practiced, it's nice to see it painted on that wall. It piqued my curiosity and I believe other people who see it may also wonder about it (or maybe not).
The other artwork was a variety of flowers or petals. It doesn't seem to have any connection with the other painting but perhaps, the shop owner just wanted some colors on his wall, hehe!
And there ends my little story for today.
It's a beautiful Monday morning and still wrapped in bed keeping myself warm while the birds chirp outside my window. They are probably enjoying the sunshine as they hop around the Tisa tree by the front yard.
I feel it's going to be one hell of a great day and I hope it will be the same for everyone of you. Happy new week!
