A beautiful sight up in the jungle...
Halsema Highway lead me to my home faraway...
Curvaceous hills and mountains...
Strawberry Fields of LTB...
A glimpse of Baguio City :)
It's always welcoming to take a little break from the mundane things even just for a while. That's why I always appreciate those days where we get to drive away from our lil kingdom. Well, today is supposed to be one of them but life happens so we're back home.
Anyway, I thought it's a good time to share some selection of skyscapes if I may call them such. These were captured during the previous weekend's escapade with the husband. The sky is one of the best and free theaters I love to watch and photograph every chance I get.
The first one being in the jungle somewhere in the boundary between the highlands and the lowlands so the air was a mix of both cold and warm which is pretty nice and refreshing. It's one of the places we consider for our retirement so we bargained some 2k sqm of the vast property. We heard birds chirping as we were hiking (not really a hike as it was just a 5-minute walk from the main highway). It was a beautiful and peaceful haven just 30 minutes away from the heart of the city.
2nd & 3rd: A morning view (around 7am) along Halsema Highway, which some consider as one of the most dangerous roads in the country. Guess I just wanted to capture the sexy curves of the mountains. The succeeding two shots still along the highway. Accidental captures kinda. I feel the chill looking at those fog settled atop the mountain on the backdrop. Was a gloomy start of the day.
4th: I guess the sun may have started peeking in the lowlands by this time or maybe not? Just a thought seeing the warmer light somewhere there.
5th to 7th: Last Sunday's morning sky above the strawberry fields in LTB. It may look like we were very early but it was already half-past 8am when the pictures were taken from the top floor of my cousin's place. It was a cold day, might be about 18 degrees or so but it felt like 5 for me, lol!
And finally, a view of the city sky in the middle of the day. We were in the terrace of the SuperMall (SM) when this was taken. It was a sunny afternoon but the clouds was beautiful, thick and fluffy.
That's all from me today and have a glorious weekend!
