We went out of the house yesterday afternoon and drove down to the valley. There was an event going on (Town Fiesta) and various activities and or competitions are in place, re: sports, creativity, recycling/upcycling etcetera. Lots of temporary stalls, tents and kiosks both for leisure and businesses were installed in different parts of the valley.
Anyway, we had been walking and going around for a while and we felt really tired so we decided to find a stall to have some drinks while resting our weary feet. The husband wanted some milk tea and he had been queuing for like eternity only to be told he might have to wait another 20-30 minutes before it will be confirmed whether his order will be accommodated. I honestly couldn't help but rolled my eyes on how the sales people were handling their customers so we left to find another place.
We stumbled upon a coffee stall which had mini tables set up under the cypress tree but were already full. We could not resist the aroma of café being brewed however, so we had our orders taken (Macchiato for me and Latte for the husband) and then looked for a space to sit on. Luckily, some of the customers left after some 10 minutes so we secured our seats before our cups were delivered.

We super enjoyed the outdoor ambiance and the coffee that we stayed long under the shade of the cypress tree. It was until we felt the colder afternoon breeze when we decided to go back to the car for our jackets. The walk was long for we parked at the school gym which was like a kilometer away (but not really). The good thing, we were able to enjoy some blooms along the way and took photos of them too.
Meanwhile, we're treating today (Sunday) our lazy day 'coz we are still feeling the exhaustion of yesterday's long walks. But who knows, maybe later in the afternoon, we'd go out for another adventure.
Until then, cheers to a glorious weekend!
