Look at that colors! Just magnificent!
The young papaya trees kind of added some more life to the scene.
Yeah, all the windows got them...
“Let the beauty of sunrise keeps your heart warm.”
~ Lailah Gifty Akita
Lailah said it well, a sunrise, no matter where or when always warms the heart. It kind of sets the soul on fire and in turn, makes me feel truly alive that I dream of beautiful things too. I wonder if anyone else feels that way?
Unfortunately where we live, we often miss the sunrise because when it rises, two huge overlapping mountains behind us cover it from our view. In fact, the sunlight only reaches our yard around 8 or 9 in the morning. So if we want to witness the crack of dawn, we have to hike up to the mountain peak really early. The good thing is when the sun sets, we get a beautiful view so that makes up for it. We can't really have it all, can we?
Anyways, some days ago, I wrote about us chasing the sunrise along Highway 24. to which I shared photos of the place, the different angles we've got of the sunrise and of the restaurant where we parked. These captures which I'm sharing today are meant for the Reflection Hunters Challenge, Round 79 initiated by . It's been a while since I last participated and thankfully, these shots are giving me the chance for this week.
The colors of the sunrise, silhouette of the mountain peak, bamboo trees, along with the stalls (i.e. smaller buildings across the street) and things, even the tarps got reflected on the windows of the restaurant and I couldn't help getting mesmerized once more.
For me, the golden hues of the sky, the blues and the other colors that come along with it are a spectacle and that's one of the reasons why my phone gallery is filled with them. Just couldn't get enough that I literally miss the warmth of it on gloomy and cold days like today.
Thank you lots and I wish you a fantastic new week as it comes your way!
Cheers!
