A very cold Friday morning up here in the mountains and I'm still bundled up in bed and been so for a few days already, lol! Blame the nasty fever partly but also thankful to it because I was able to take power naps in the daytime which doesn't happen often when I'm at my best.
Meanwhile, the husband drove to the city to get some goodies and to pick up some stuff that he bought online but got delivered to my sister's place. He said they were subpar to the quality he expected. That's the first unfortunate online-shopping experience if ever.
Speaking of shopping, let me share some photos of retail shops and stores taken by the husband during a trip to the airport not so long ago. These were just a few of the outlets along the NAIA Passengers Terminal 3. They are quite nice for one to kill some time off while waiting for a flight or even buy some things or sweet treats to nibble on from the goodies shop.
Or maybe pick up some body care or fragrances at the Bath & Body Works for oneself or as a gift to another.
There's even a Kedma Cosmetics clinic (4th photo) for those who want to look glam while traveling or perhaps buy its products for pasalubongs (gifts) or for personal use.
Some little trivia about Kedma:
According to Wiki, Kedma is a youth-village in south-central Israel. Interesting enough, Kedma Cosmetic's tagline is "Forever Young."
Kedma's story goes way back in time - to Cleopatra, a queen who redefined beauty, a woman who discovered the treasures that revive and rejuvenate the body and spirit: Dead Sea minerals and gold. Kedma Cosmetics combines the secrets of ancient Egyptian cosmetics with the revitalizing properties of Dead Sea minerals, the anti-aging properties of gold and innovative production technologies to bring youth, health and vitality to women and men worldwide. - Source
This made me wonder... are you perhaps fond of buying things from airport retail shops when you are traveling? Personally, I used to buy one or two chocolate bars or some sweet delights which I eat while I'm waiting to board.
It is quite fascinating to learn through a quick research that the airport retail market size is still thriving and the Asia-Pacific region was the highest revenue contributor and is growing at the fastest rate. Goes to show that some people's disposable incomes are still good despite economic challenges.
Interesting stuff, noh?
Anyhow, that's just it from me today and Happy Friday everyone!
