Yes, this lake from afar...
It's a huge one, but is it really a lake?
I wonder... perhaps we will get to discover hopefully soon, in the summer.
"Tita, where were you going yesterday?" my niece asked on our family chat room sometime ago.
"We went for a ride somewhere warmer," I replied.
"Was it here?" she continued and attached a photo (below).
"Haha! That's a wallpaper," her uncle (my youngest brother) butted in.
"Nope, Tito. Guess where it is..." she challenged him.
"So what's the place called?" my brother inquired.
"Make a guess Tito," she teased him further.
I showed the photo to the farmboy and he thinks the place isn't here. "Maybe it's somewhere overseas," he said.
My niece hinted that she saw us taking the west bound road at the intersection. Then I realized, we may have been traveling all along at the same route that day. She didn't tell, quite the secretive gal. I just guessed she was with her in-laws during that time.
Then I remembered the lake which we sighted when we pulled over along the roadside to honor the call of nature. The husband suggested we let the engine rest as we have been driving mostly uphill for quite a while. So we did and crossed the other side of the road when boom! A beautiful lake from afar.
Unfortunately, I didn't have a luck in finding what it is on GMap because I don't really know the name of the place nor the street where we stopped. I think it might be a sign for us to take another road trip and explore more. We do know the route so we can go back hehe!
A blooming wildflower somewhere along that route.
Summer's coming and it will be a perfect time to get lost in many of the wonderlands out there. This lake is sure one in the books for me and hopefully, circumstances will allow another chance to see and be in the midst of it.
That's not too much of a dream right?😅
Anyhow, the weekend is here! Just when we thought summer is almost upon us but the rain comes now and then. Been rainy drizzly and gusty throughout the night so it's another indoor day for this soul. Power is out too so it's gonna be a great day to spend some time offline and do other things or perhaps catch up on sleep which had been so elusive these recent days.😂
Happy weekend everyone!
