Yeah, it all starts with a good stance at life...
Gratefully and excitingly welcoming the new day...
Taking time to appreciate everything...
Savouring every moment...
And ending the day with a grateful heart...
Tuesday crawled in quietly, at least that's how I felt waking up a bit late today. I said late because it was past 7 when I awoke this morning when I'm usually up around 5. That's partly because I had to wait for the husband who came home around 11 last night from LTB delivering the neighbor's goods. It was something he didn't really like doing but couldn't say no.
It's just good it doesn't happen often so he puts up with it. It's one of his life's lemons so to speak. Not wanting to do it but he had to because no one else would and because he cared so...
Anyhow, the photos taken in the walls of KFC reminded me about life and how we approach our days. There are times when we have so much gusto with what we are to do and we have exceptional energy and good spirits that nothing seems to bother or annoy us. Those days are simply awesome, aren't they?
And on other occasion, we feel so uninspired and things around us seem so dull or boring and pointless. But the great thing is that we have the capacity to pull ourselves away from getting sapped deep into that kind of drama.
Personally, one of the things I do when a time like that starts rearing its head is going out on a walk. Getting fresh air on my face, looking at the landscapes, feeling some numbness on my legs, taking photos of things... I could say these never failed bringing me back into a better frame of mind and I'd be rocking in no time.
I think its how we approach life like the way we do with food or maybe not so?
Cheers to you today :)
