Maracay is a city located in north-central Venezuela, north of South America.
In recent years some areas of the city center have been recovered, making these spaces recover the beauty they had a few years ago.
The photos I present to you were taken in two emblematic areas of the city, around the Plaza Bolivar, which until a few years ago was the largest in South America. Just in front of the square is the old Hotel Jardin, which was later used as the headquarters of the governor of Aragua State. Still on the facade is the name of the governor's office.
The last photo corresponds to the City Council of the city, an area that has good open spaces that allow pedestrian recreation. In these post-Christmas days these spaces are still very well illuminated, favoring night photos.
I hadn't been out at night for some time, so I hadn't heard that all these public buildings had been renovated. If you happen to be in town, go visit these spaces.
All pictures were taken with Xiaomi 9.
Thanks for your time.
