In The Old Pantheon
Today is a day of memories, a moment in which we stop in front of an image and travel in the past immediately, to realize the great changes through the years our reality is presenting, little by little our memory and the Photographs are the only witnesses to that metamorphosis to which absolutely everything is at the mercy. In cities like Caracas, where since its inception changes have been the rule to follow, it is very common to face scenarios that have evolved so rapidly over time that the same generation has witnessed great differences in open and closed spaces, despite the fact that many historic buildings have the status of patrimonial asset, these do not escape the changes that life promotes without stopping.

En El Viejo Panteón
Hoy es un día de recuerdos, un momento en donde nos paramos frente a una imagen y viajamos en el pasado de forma inmediata, para darnos cuenta de los grandes cambios a través de los años nuestra realidad va presentando, poco a poco nuestra memoria y las fotografías son los únicos testigos de esa metamorfosis a la que absolutamente todo está a merced. En ciudades como Caracas en donde desde sus inicios los cambios son la regla a seguir es muy común enfrentarse a escenarios que durante el tiempo han ido evolucionando a tal rapidez que una misma generación ha presenciado grandes diferencias en espacios abiertos y cerrados, a pesar de que muchas edificaciones históricas cuentan con la condición de bien patrimonial estos no escapan de los cambios que la vida impulsa sin detenerse.
The National Pantheon is one of those buildings that due to its historical condition and importance to the nation, one would think that it would remain inert over time, but it turns out that in its long journey it has been changing in its shape and style to the point of becoming a perfect symbol of the continuous evolution of Caracas. Here I leave you some beautiful images captured in 2009 where this structure showed off its imposing main nave crowned by the Bolivarian flags and in the background the sarcophagus inside which was the Liberator of America.
El Panteón Nacional es una de esas edificaciones que por su condición histórica he importancia para la nación se pensaría que quedaría inerte a través del tiempo, pero resulta que en su largo recorrido ha ido cambiando en su forma y estilo a tal punto de convertirse en un símbolo perfecto del continuo devenir caraqueño. Por acá les dejo una bonitas imágenes captadas en el año 2009 en donde esta estructura lucia su imponente nave principal coronada por las banderas bolivarianas y al fondo el sarcófago en cuyo interior se encontraba el Libertador de América.
